Hired Hope Home Improvement, ***** owned by ******************************* (nickname ******* for a roof improvement job the week of August 28, 2023 at my elderly parents home.Completed the job on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 where we paid **** in full via certified check in the amount of $20,000. Prior to the start of the job, we paid **** $2,400 for (2) skylights via check.Monday, September 11, 2023, water was pouring in from (1) of the skylights. He sent his employee (nickname "Chapo") to come fix it. We have a video of the leak. Water was also coming in from the tenants window patio into the main hallway. We requested for this to be fixed as well.We called **** a third time in October because the skylight was still leaking.The week of January 15, 2024, *** had a few days of bad rain. In our tenants back room, water was pouring in from the light socket into the light bulb. The light bulb has water in it. We have a video. The main entrance ceiling is saturated from the rain (paint peeled, water and wood damage). We have pictures. We are seeking for the job to be done correctly with a final check done by a city property inspector. We want others to know what type of job they do, scamming elderly people for their hard earned money know they are not able to go up in the roof and check their work. They did not cover walls of the roof, only the flat roof. There are holes in the brick exposing it to rain, etc., paint brush handle, foot marks.The job was clearly not done by professionals, and it unsafe and unsatisfactory.They need to come back and fix the job, access the damage inside the home and we will hire another company to fix the inside at their expense.Per our contract, we have a 20 year warranty. Ironically, it fell apart in less than 1 year in warranty.**** is unresponsive to calls and text messages.Business response

There is still water damage in our main hallway. Hope Home Improvement, **** still needs to come back and add aluminum paint coat to the patch work; need to show they pitched the roof towards the drains (atop the roof and window patio). Request to have them clear the drain line where debris fell (possibly causing the water damage to the window patio/entry hallway).
