I ordered a ford bronco in 2021 March and just finally ford delivered my custom order, the salesman never called or left a message and they sold it to someone else, now I am told I need to wait indefinitely and pay a higher priceBusiness response

This is in regards to complaint #********. Mr. *******’s vehicle came in on October 14th 2022, at that time our salesman reached out and left a message. On Tuesday October 24th after not hearing from Mr. ******* we decide that we needed to sell the Bronco because its cost our dealership money if it sits here. We did sell the vehicle that day. On Thursday October 27th Mr. ******* called and asked about his Bronco, because he stopped late Saturday October 22nd and saw it on our lot. We let Mr. ******* know that we had sold it because we didn’t get a return call. After doing some research on our end we believe that our sales person called and left a message at the wrong phone number. I reached out to Mr. ******* on Friday the 28th apologizing for the mistake and that we would order and sell him a 2023 Bronco at the exact same price as his original 2021 Bronco was. We have yet to hear back. Due to the fact that Broncos are selling for thousands of dollars over MSRP, Mr. ******* believes we sold his vehicle to somebody else to make more money. That is not the case. We sold it at MSRP there was no mark up, just an honest mistake on our part. We absolutely do not do business that way.
