This business was recommended and hired by our ******'s insurance after we had a flooding/plumbing issue that required our master bathroom and ceiling (located underneath master bathroom) to be removed. This company removed the incorrect bathroom, a guest bathroom on the other side of our home, despite clear directions. They removed both the flooring and the vanity before we noticed. They clearly stated to our insurance and us that this was their fault and they will replace these items. They are now refusing to replace the vanity, noting it has minor damages. However, it is damaged and we do not want an item that was damaged and ripped out of our wall to be put back in. This is especially concerning, as they ripped it out of a bathroom on the complete opposite side of our house and we are concerned about the quality of the work that took place in regards to this removal (therefore, it is not going back in the bathroom). We attempted to talk with them, including having them speak to their owners again, but they refused to replace the vanity. We explained that this was something we never wanted, and are now without a bathroom upstairs for almost two months while I am pregnant. We even agreed to only get one in specific price ranges, again they refused. We bought our own due to our concerns and now want reimbursement for it. We paid 1271.60 for the new vanity. Hello responding back to the complaint that was received it is unfortunate that the bathroom was removed by accident however we took full responsibility and restoring it to the condition it was in. The cabinet would have been repaired back to perfect working order by the contractor that we have hired to put back the flooring and vanity and repair the wall were the vanity was however the homeowner has chose to buy a larger vanity which would include back splash and sink. ServiceMaster is not responsible for upgrades. thankyou for your time have a great day !Business response

Hello we have hired a third party to repair the bathroom in question they would have installed the original vanity and made any repairs that were necessary we consider this matter closed have a great day !Customer response
