I see the only reviews this company receives are 1 star. I wish I had looked this up before I spent our hard earned money with an awful company. We ordered a pool solar cover, it came in and as we opened it we began to realize it was round and not rectangular like we needed. We immediately called customer service and sent a photo. Because it was opened, even though it wasn't unrolled, was never even taken outdoors, they are saying no returns. We were offered a 20% discount to waste more money with a company who could potentially send us the wrong size cover with no ability to return it and no way of confirming it's the correct size without opening. Hopefully this company goes out of business. Buy from ******, spend your money in a safe place that puts customers first.Review from Starnet k

I purchased a pool solar cover from this company, but my experience has been extremely disappointing. The product itself only worked for 8 months, but when I had an issue and needed to use the warranty, things went downhill. They expect me to pay for handling and shipping costs that are nearly the same as the original price of the product! This is unacceptable and feels like a blatant attempt to profit off of their customers. A warranty should provide peace of mind, not extra hidden costs. I would strongly advise against buying from this company unless you want to be hit with unreasonable charges down the line.Review from Manuel E

BEWARE - BEWARE - 1 Star is more than they deserve. I purchased (48) Rx Clear Chlorine in 1lb packs. I did not need them right away so I stored them in my garage. I live in Florida and the garage does get pretty warm. The printing on the packs have melted and fused the packs together. When you try to separate them they tear. I called customer service in the hopes that they could help me salvage these packs. Their response was "separate them as best you can" . The printing comes off on your hands and it's sticky like glue, their response was "wear gloves". Since I had purchased the chlorine 8 months ago, they said there was nothing they could do. I believe customer service is not in their vocabulary. I suggest you purchase elsewhere. You are not going to get any help or satisfaction from this company no matter what you buy from them. I'm going to spread the word, I hope you do too.Review from Celia R

BUYER BEWARE .. if I could put a -5 I would. Do not buy it from this company unless you want to throw away money. Their customer service is horrible. Their return policy is almost non-existent and even worse if you buy from them through ******. Do your homework and find yourself a better business. This business clearly does not belong on BBB but I guess you can buy anything nowadays...Review from KRISTY M

I purchased a pool ladder, and it has been 7 days, and no one knows where the ladder is. I have spoken to ***** 4 times and pool supplies 4 times. They will not refund my money until 3 more days pass. My pool has been up, and we cannot swim in it because we can't get a ladder. we were supposed to have it 4 days ago, then when they send us another ladder it will take another 4-5 days to receive. We are torn because we can't get this size ladder anywhere else. This supplier even sends to ******. I am so upset I could cry. Everyday kids ask is ladder here? I feel like they should overnight us a ladder. I am so frustrated right now there is nothing else we can do. I feel taken advantage of and no one cares. I can't afford to order another ladder when I have not been reimbursed for this one, I am a single mother trying the best I can.Review from Gail V

I had the same experience with Pool Supplies, Inc. I ordered what I understood was the correct lining, but it turns out I needed a different lining. The box was opened, but liner was left in the box - never removed. Company would not allow me to return the untouched product. I will not do business with these folks again and recommend you contact a local provider who can get the right product to you. It is ridiculous that this group will not take returned product that never left the box and the box was in perfect condition. Probably the only way they make money.
After a first issue with Poolsupplies.com, I have had a second issue with them on an order placed before I had the first issue. I placed an order for an item which I received a notice that the item had shipped. Four days after that, ***/**** indicated they had still not received the package. When I contacted their "customer service," they acknowledged that the order hadn't shipped, but would not issue me a refund on my credit card. I was told that the order just went to the floor and that I needed to give them one more day for the item to ship and if it didn't, I should call them tomorrow to discuss "next steps." When the item doesn't ship tomorrow, I will instead notify my credit card company to not pay them since they said they would ship something, didn't, and will not refund my credit card. I've never had a company that does business online behave in this manner. This is a horrible company to do business with and I strongly recommend not doing any business with them based on two horrible experiences with them in less than a week. Extremely customer unfriendly.

Bought a liner from this place April 2024. Me not knowing there are several different bead types of pool liners assumed and bought which was described to me using the internet and pictures. I opened the box which is a no no in the world of pool supplies. Come to find out my pool is a 20 something year old pool and requires an ****** ******** bead. Tried to return the liner and was told since the box is open I am unable to return the item. So, if you do dealings with a .com store check what you are ordering and check again. Cause once that box is opened it belongs to you!poolsupplies.com Response

Hello, Per our policy listed on our website: The item you wish to return must be unopened, clean and in resalable condition. Note: Not all items may be returned. For example, chemicals, custom and special orders and unfolded covers and liners are non-returnable. This liner had been opened and therefore was no longer eligible for return. We advised the customer to try and sell on marketplace and offered a 10% discount on a new liner however, he stated he will be putting a bad review and then hung up.Review from John D

Ordered a pool cover from them because it was guaranteed for 3 years and 5 years limited. When it arrived 2 of the metal rings weren't in the holes where they belong and After 1 year it started falling apart and they won't honor their guarantee.Review from Brian K

Be very careful dealing with these people. I ordered a simple pool float and it was missing some hardware. It was for a birthday party and couldn't be given as a present. I inquired about returning it and was told I would have to pay the shipping back as well as a 20% restocking fee AND, if the box were opened, they would reject it. Basically "TOO BAD SUCKER!!!" Lost about $175 on this deal. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. If there were less than zero stars, these guys would get them.poolsupplies.com Response

We requested a photo of the damaged/defective item. If we receive a photo showing the problem, we then could send a refund or replacement. We have not received the requested photo.Review from Kevin B

Terrible cusotmer service. I have seperation in my pool cover near the seams. Submitted warranty claim and they denied saying it is a tear. I feel like since the cover is having issues near the seams it is seam related. There are no other issues anywhere else on the cover so I feel like when the seams are formed the edges near it are damaged or thinned out by the process.
