On 11/16/2023 I paid an initial amount of $577.00 to start a new Auto Insurance policy. I previously contacted the business a month before, to inquire about a quote and the validity of the business entity. I then received via mail, Insurance documents including a declarations page and a schedule of automatic payment deductions. There was no prior agreed upon arrangement to have any such deductions from any account. I was asked instead to continue paying via Cash App. I was then asked in the months of Dec, January, Feb, March, May, and July to send a number of partial payments. Each time before I paid they claimed they sent me notice or tried calling, I don't recall receiving any calls, mail or email, then was asked for immediate payment. Their preferred mode to communicate was via text from **************. That number also doubled as a contact for a remote representative who mostly female, most recently the persons answering are latino males. I have been receiving in lieu of monthly bills, letters from the ************** of Motor Vehicles, they all keep mentioning that I have no coverage and requesting proof of continuous auto coverage since 12/13/2023. I have since responded in writing to the *** last in February 2024, then didn't hear anything again until late July 2024. The claim by the *** is now requiring Immediate Response and threatening to suspend my registration, plates and supposed ability to be licensed in the State of ********. Recently most of my attempts to seek assistance from "Liberty Auto Insurance" has fallen on deaf ears. I have been in contact, on occasion with a ************************* AKA ***************************. I've tried to plead with them to return my funds if they're not adequately helping me. Now they're alleging that coverage that is in effect is still active with GEICO Insurance, however after searching online with my policy number and calling to speak with a live agent they could never find any policy directly connected to my name or date of birth.Business response
