Priscos supplied me 3 **'s in my apartment, and a dishwasher. Have had issues with every single appliance I buy from them, even immediately. With my bedroom **, and I paid them to install it and it was actually working well for a couple years until this year I noticed wetness on the wood floor. Nothing was dripping from the ** that I could see, and the unit was working, and no visible condensation was seen. Upon further inspection I found a trickle of water coming from the side of the unit into the baseboard, and from the side of the wall it was seeping into the floor. The wall was soaking wet and paint cracking, the baseboard was waterlogged, as was the floor around a 7ft x 2ft area by the **. The water damaged not only my property but personal items that were sitting in a basket (including my apple $3000 MacBook Pro that was charging in this basket). I got an environmental specialist to come over who was recommended by a water damage professional, and they said the ** should drain water outwards but for some reason it was coming inwards. He looked inside the ** with a light and noticed mold growing inside the ** - so clearly it had been malfunctioning and causing mold to grow in the unit. I am having health issues and am about to undergo very serious surgery - so need a working ** that doesn't have mold growth. My floors are damaged, my wall damaged because the unit was not installed correctly. Also the dishwasher he supplied me to replace a unit he sold me that stopped working again, is also malfunctioning. The dryer goes on all times of the day, causing my electricity bill to be extremely high. I've called several times and not been called back. It's 90 degrees and I cannot use the ** now despite a health issue and am dealing with a mold situation.Business response

9/3/2024WE SPOKE THIS CUSTOMER MANY TIMES , THAT SHE NEED TO PUT A BIGGER UNIT N . WE RPLACED IT WITH SAME AND HER COMPLANT WAS IT WOULDT COOL THE ROOM . THEM SHE STATED THAT THER WAS ************** . WE EXPLANDED THAT THE SLEEVE IN THE **** WHICH WAS PROVIDED BY THE BUILDING WAS SAGING AND THAT IT HAD TO BE REPLACED. SO WE OFFERED TO UPGRADE HER UNIT AND REPLACE THE SLEEVEBUT SHE HAD TO GET PERMISSION FROM YHE BUILDING. TIME PASSED AND SHE FINALLY WAITING ON THE BUILDING . WELL TIME WENT BY AND NEVER HEARD FROM HER AGAIN UNTILL NOW . STRANGE?*********************************

Purchased a matching set of ************** from Prisco Appliance on July 17, 2023. Original Whirlpool washer& dryer set, the dryer was damaged. Salesman ordered another brand as we needed a right vent dryer. Washer and dryer delivered and the installer broke our dryer gas line connection valve. Had to have the valve replaced before dryer could be hooked up. ****** was hooked up incorrectly. The water hoses were crossed and the cold was hot and the hot was cold. The installers tried to vent the dryer on the right side and they banged out the 2 cut outs for the vent pipe and put jagged gashes in the vent holes. They told me dryer could not vent right after salesperson swore it was a right vent dryer. Installers vented the dryer out the back and covered up the vent holes with silver tape. The dryer is also damaged from when they tried to put the vent hoses in as it scrapes something when the dryer rotates. The people at Prisco think that the tape is cosmetic and I should keep the banged up machine that their installer destroyed. The main complaint is that the units that were delivered were not a matched set! I ordered a matched set and I want a matched set. I keep calling the sales person and spoke to the owner and the manager and the issue has not been resolved. My calls go to voicemail and when I went in person on August 8, 2023 to get the situation rectified I was told by the manager, *******, that she would call me. Still no phone call and no resolution At this point, I just want them to refund my money and take their unmatched ************** back.Business response

Date of transaction: 7/23/22 Purchased washer/dryer, paid in full with check for $2120.90.Gave all measurements needed to accommodate this washer/dryer & in spite of all that the washer/dryer would not fit according to their delivery persons so it was taken back. Store reordered a different washer/dryer that I did not want nor did I approve of so the order was canceled. I was supposed to get a refund but have not received it yet. I have tried to contact store Manger by phone and email but no response from them. I desperately need help to resolve this matter.Thank you. ******************Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: *** **** ****** did call me to resolve. His resolution was to pressure me to take a washer/dryer that I never saw. I asked for pictures of the washer/dryer that he proposed but he never sent them. I sent ** ***************************** an email that the only way to resolve this matter was to issue me a refund of what I had paid. This email was sent on October 6, 2022; I have not received my refund and I have not had any further communication from him, not even a response that the check was in the mail! That is all I want, I will not do business with this company in the future. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:******** was closed, as the outcome from the business was that they would send me a refund. Well, ******** days into November and the claim was closed I believe in mid October - I have not yet received my refund. I dont know what to do next! I have tried calling *** ***************************** and left a message but he has not responded to me. I have learned a huge ****** here, never pay by check!

Purchased some AC window units. One was damaged and they didnt leave it and were supposed to be reliving a new one. They never did. I called numberpus times and even showed up in the store. ***** was my sales person. I recently showed up at store and he told me the guy who can authorize refund was at a funeral and he would get back to me right away. Still nothing. Has been about a year of arguing with them. I would just like the money back for air conditioner that I did not receive. I am a single mother and this was the air conditioner for my daughters room.Business response

A new dehumidifier was sent to Prisco for repair as a listed provider for warranty repairs after it malfunctioned. It was picked up, to be returned. Then the ***** lockdowns appeared and the return was not pressed after discussion with the owner. It has now been a year and there have been no returned calls or explanation for the long delay. Calls to the manufacturer (*********) resulted in that it is now in the hands of the repair firm and they absolve all blame or responsibility.Initial Complaint

On 10/15/2021 I purchased a ********************** refrigerator from them for a total cost after tax of $779.22.Delivery occured 2 days later. Delivery went well. The fridge is very good.My problem is I never got a **** of sale, only a **** receipt when I bought the fridge. The sales person, ****** said the delivery men would give me the **** of sale. The delivery men never gave it to **** have called the store many times asking about it. I never speak to ***** directly. The guys who answer the phone take messages for her and I never get a callback. A couple times they transfer me to what they say is her voice mail, I leave messages, never hear back.Do they not give her the messages?What's the big problem with mailing me the complete **** of sale which I may need in the future?Business response
