I received an email with a coupon on June 5, 2024 when I went to Harbor freight on June 7 I was told the coupon had already expired. I drove two hours way to get there so a four hour round-trip to discover that in the fine print, the coupon was only valid for one day, I requested that they honor the coupon having proof they received the email that they specified. They said they were unable to do so. I called customer service. They said they were unable to help me. I do not like to be switched. They sent me a coupon that was only valid for one day the day before it expired , I left the items that I was gonna purchase an express my displeasure with management and to never shop there again unless they corrected this issue I would like to have a coupon for one item 25% off with a reasonable use timeframe. thank youInitial Complaint

This past weekend 02/11/2023 I decided I wanted to purchase a tool box from harbor freight. I went to my local store and they were out of stock of all tool boxes. I went home and started calling around to all the harbor freights that were close by, every store was out of stock, I reached ******************* ** Harbor freight. I told them what I was looking for and explained my situation to the employee (later found out he was the manager) I explained I live 2 hours away but am willing to travel as long as they had the white Yukon tool box in stock, he said we have 3 in the back stacked on top of eachother along with some black and maybe a few other colors I asked him to make sure he specifically had the white 9 drawer Yukon tool box because I live 2 hours away and dont want to make a wasted trip. He again assured me he had more than one white tool box, so I asked as well about the wooden work bench with the vice he told me yes I have them in stock also so I said ok I will be there in two hours. When I get there (2 hours later) come to find out they in fact do not have any white tool boxes only red and black, and they do not have any wooden work benches in stock and havent for a while. I am very irritated that I was lied to and that I wasted a lot of money in gas and my time, so I decided to just go with another color because I need a tool box and they did not have the one I specifically drove there for. When I inquired about who I spoke to that gave me the false information everyone said wasnt me, I finally found the guy I spoke to and right to my face he says it wasnt me yet he had the same voice and the same name as the person I spoke to on the phone so he didnt own up to his mistake and caused me to waste my time and money to drive 4 hours round trip to be seriously disappointed with my service from harbor freight, a company I usually am thrilled to shop at. Now not so much.
