I spent over 5000 dollars on a piece of junk that they said was perfectly fineCustomer response

I wasn’t informed on any issues with the car an I get it but if someone buys something “As is” shouldn’t they know what as is would be for the item especially if they ask you i just feel like these people are allowed to scam folks an get away with it it’s not fairCustomer response

Consumer stated they have been having issues with the car. The check engine light is on and they have been getting different readings and diagnostics each time they have checked to see what is wrong. They have been spending money on trying to fix the vehicle since the purchase and they are unsure of what is wrong with it. They are requesting a refund.

On 11 Feb 2023, i purchased a 2013 VW Golf R (salvage title) from Ohio Euro motorcars. I paid $5600 + tax, title and temp tag to OEM via certified check. After many inquiries to the dealership (**** ******), i still have not received the title. ** ****** does not respond to requests for an update on what is happening.Initial Complaint

Bought a car from this business on 3/29/23. The next day - check engine light went off (EGR valve) and I contacted the business, they acknowledged the problem with the car and offered to pay to fix it by taking it to their mechanic. I did that and when I picked up my car within 30 minutes the check engine light went off again and I took it back to the mechanic and they fixed the issue again as it was another exhaust valve and intake manifest. I go to pick up the car after this and within an hour the check engine light went off again. It was the weekend so I was unable to take it back to the mechanic. I had the check engine code ran and it came back as my catalytic converter and O2 sensors. I contacted the sales person at Ohio Euro Motorcars about this issue and was met with no reply to text messages or a phone call. I called the business and asked to speak with their owner, was given his phone number and left a message that has yet to be given a return phone call. I spent 7 grand on a car with issues the next day walking off the lot and this business cant even seem to give you the time of day after purchasing a car to help solve an issue that they acknowledged and paid to fix parts of in the beginning
