Arrived 12/21/2022 to get impressions made for a denture. Impressions were taken, and I was told the denture would not be ready until 1/6. Well, I received a call on 12/22/2022 from my oral surgeon (the oral surgeon is a different practice, not Affordable Dentures,) that I had to pay $5,100 that day in order to have my teeth extracted. I told them I could not pay $5,100 up front and was still securing financing, and they said they had to cancel the appointment due to this. I immediately called Affordable Dentures and asked that my payment on my ********** card of $1,859 please be refunded until I could secure financing for the tooth extractions at the oral surgeon's office. They refused, saying they had "already made the denture." This contradicts the prior statement that it would not be completed until 1/6. By saying it is ready on 12/22, they are now claiming they somehow made the temporary denture a full two weeks earlier than they had quoted a day earlier. Additionally, my payment was for the "New Denture Wearer Package," not just a temporary denture. Per their website, the package includes one temporary denture set, unlimited adjustments to the dentures, temporary relines for the temporary denture, and delivery of my permanent set of dentures 6-12 months later. I have not received my temporary denture yet, I have not received any relining services as I do not yet wear dentures, and I certainly have not received the denture that is to be available in 6-12 months. I have received no part of the package I paid for and do not see why a refund is not grantable. A technician did take impressions of my teeth, and I am happy to pay for having had the impressions taken, but I feel charging me $1,859 for goods and services I have not received as part of the package is unfair as I am no longer going to be getting dentures for the foreseeable future. Please do the right thing and have a heart. The circumstances of my asking for a refund are beyond my control.

My experience was not good the dentist was ok I explained what I wanted I was sent to an oral surgeon to have teeth removed and 1 that never came done because that is where one of the implant would be placed before removing my teeth I asked if I was a candidate for snap in dentures he said I would have to wait 6 months after my mouth heals to find out meanwhile I was getting my permanent dentures made there and I was told I had to buy the highest package because that was the only one that could be used with the implant . Upon my 6 month visit I asked if all money was paid up I thought I had *************************************** no it's all paid for I proceeded to get my permanent denture made knowing I was going to be getting the implants to secure the denture my first time trying in the denture the girl did not give me a mirror handed me the denture and said look at me I said can I have a mirror I almost cried the teeth were worse then costume teeth the lady who made the teeth came in said I don't ever see you before making these so I have no idea the teeth were crooked and sticking out of my mouth and huge I explained I use to have small teeth she stated she would darken the shade and make something closer to what the color and size of my own teeth. I went back again the color was better the teeth were hideous the eye teeth were ** in the gum the teeth were large and not centered the lady came in again and started yelling at me had a marker and was marking them I said I don't like them she said I'm not going to argue with you was so rude I said I'd rather go somewhere else because I was so uncomfortable she yelled out to the dental assistant and said give her a refund I was leaving in shock up set and confused and it's my teeth omg I trusted these people when I explained I was to get the implants it was then told to me that those were not even the denture they could use those with the dental assistant said give me your denture if you want a refund I couldn't b

Six years ago had dentures make and had lots of issues with implants and dentures had to have three pairs made . Bought best top of the line dentures. After 3 years repeated visits and problems tooth on top denture fell out they replaced and still wasn't right not put in proper. Dentist ******* ******* took over practice and was told he was Not responsible for what the other dentist did. I was still a patient and he had my records but wasn't responsible. I had an infection around my implants and told me I had to go see a specialist he couldn't do anything. Angry after thousands of dollars and head secretary being nasty and rude I left I have been wearing the temporary dentures because my permanate ones were not fixed and tried to get repaired but because they made them was told I would have to go back to who made them . Finally I gave in and went back to them and same receptionist who is totally horrible was still there being her nasty self. Not easy to deal with or talk to.Has an attitude. Well she said they could fix for 170 dollars. Me not wearing them for three years or more and they are only just six years old and I bought their best set and I am told I have to pay 170 for a tooth they didn't put in proper. So I paid . Well I was eating a egg mcmuffin from ********'s and the bottom plate the front tooth broke off. I was fit to be tied . Went to them receptionist was Rude and right away gets smart and says oh you dropped them and I told her no I did not drop them and told her what happened and she acting like I was living. Than I got an attitude because how she acted. I told her I had talked to my lawyer and tried to tell her he had said once the dentist takes over the practice he takes over everything and right away she got nasty and said they would not fix my teeth and I needed to leave. Post caps have fallen out can't wear. Tooth 2 times fell out chip eating egg mcmuffin. Look how cheaply made.Teeth look black at roots

My issue is similar to other customers. November 7,2017 (under DDS ************************* I purchased a new Ultima denture package (with extractions $2704.00) that had a 7-year warranty (identical to Aspen Dental and *************). During this time frame the Affordable ************** in *********** closed, so all these ****** patients were transferred to the Akron office, and it was terrible. Overbooking, 2 to 3 hour waits etc. my temp was remade several times. Then DDS ****** left and a steady stream of fill in dentists flooded in to keep the business operating. My new denture finally arrived Summer 2018, but it also was remade numerous times. Never saw the same lab people twice) One of my adjustments was even done by an office receptionist. You couldn't make this horror story up if you wanted to. Anyway, DDS Fischer bought the Affordable Denture business around December 2018, was sympathetic, and seriously attempted to make my Ultima denture fit properly. He did a free reline around summer 2019 and I appreciated that. The Ultima denture seemed to work OK till 6/24/ 2020 so I paid for a reline ($180.00) DDS Fischer then gave me an implant quote dated 8/19/20 of $5400.00 thinking something else might be going on with my denture and implants would help. Around November ***** the Ultima Denture cracked down the middle. They repaired the denture and at that time DDS Fischer told me to stop on the implant idea because he thought I might not be a candidate for the Ultimate denture and to wait and see how the repair holds up. I have extensive metal lower bridgework and his thinking was the denture was not strong enough. Thanksgiving 2021 the denture cracked in 2 places. ****** (his assistant) said a repair would cost $175.00 with no warranty.I called ****** last Tuesday 1/11/22 asking for a refund (At 3 years it started cracking and they can't help). Said she'd check and get back with me but did not. REFUND $1064.00 for the denture and $180.00 reline >Total $1244.00
