I purchased a ******* dryer from Grove appliance in alliance ohio. The total cost was $552.74. It stopped heating almost a week after purchasing it. . I called and they sent someone on March 18th. He took it apart figure out the problem and changed the ignitor because he said it was cracked. Then on March 29th the same thing happened again and I called they said they couldn't send someone to fix it until March 22nd. I asked about a refund they told me id have to pay a 25% restocking fee, but I don't understand why I'd have to pay and loose out on the money since it wasn't our fault it broke. There's a year warranty but I don't want to keep something if it's going to break every week.Initial Complaint

I purchased a speed queen commercial washer in July or August of 2022 for almost $1200 with a 5 year warranty. The washer stopped working on the day after they installed it. I have called 5 times since purchasing because the washer becomes off balance and does not spin out the water. They have told me that we were loading it improperly and that it wasn’t getting enough water. On the 3 rd trip out, they discovered that the machine was not level and the tub was hitting the inside of the machine and causing it to stop. They installed the washer. On the last visit I was told that the warranty only covers parts, not labor because we are a business even though it is literally a commercial washer. The washer is obviously a lemon and I would like it replaced. They were out to replace the springs on June 27, the washer quit again on June 28 and I called again. They have not returned my call. I do have a receipt that I can send if necessary.Business response

We have gone above and beyond to take care of this customer. We were out yesterday 6/30/23 & the screens to the water were clogged due to poor water quality. We showed how to clean which was causing the loads not to spin out because the unit could not get enough cold water. We are following the rules of the warranty set by the manufacturer. We can only do so much but have been out multiple times.
