April of 2022, I paid this company $2500 to rebuild the transmission on my truck. After putting only 3000 miles, daily miles - non towing, the transmission has failed. They refuse to stand behind their work and insist I pay an additional $2500 to rebuild the transmission once again. Most vehicles are driven around 15,000 miles per year.Business response

A-1 did a transmission rebuild for Tony ****** on 4-21-22, in which he is 7 months out of warranty. Our warranty is a 1 year parts and labor warranty. If Mr. ****** were to have had any problems within the 1 year warranty period, they would have been fixed for free under that 1 year warranty. Our parts are warranted for a 1 year period through our parts providers. Mr ****** contacted us demanding that we do a repair for free, even though he is 7 months out of warranty. Also Mr ****** called my wife "* ***** ** ****" in which we will never do any work or refund any money back. After Mr. ****** called my wife "* ***** ** ****", we informed him to come get hit truck in which he did. ******* *******Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I have all the receipts and NOWHERE IS THERE STATED a 1 year warranty! And, had the woman not accused my husband of lying aboutthe fact of the transmission was only driven 3,000 miles, he would not have gotten so mad. We have no reason to lie. I will try to send copies of my receipts ASAP. Thank you.

A-1 Auto and Transmissions issues a 1 year warranty on all in house rebuilds. That is our only warranty we offer and has ever offered, its not a mileage based warranty, 1 year no matter the miles.
