After having had several lengthy phone conversations with Mr. Kent H***, the business owner of H*** Design Organization about the terms, specifics and logistics of this business deal, which involved custom painting a used motorcycle gas tank, on June 2, 2021, I sent my used motorcycle tank valued at $700. to H*** Design via Fex-Ex at a cost of $84.81 (see attached receipt). Also, enclosed with the gas tank was a letter addressed to Mr. H*** dated 6/1/21 (also attached) intended to serve as memorandum of understanding. This letter included 8 1/2" x 11" reference color photographs of another gas tank of mine that Mr. H*** had painted for me 25-30 years prior via a 3rd party, that I liked and wanted him to replicate the color scheme of on this gas tank. This is the typical color scheme that Mr. H*** specializes in and is very well known for doing. In addition to the letter, also enclosed with the gas tank was a $600. deposit check which represented 50% of the final cost quoted to me. This check was cashed by Mr. H*** on June 7th, 2021 (see my attached bank record with a copy of the cashed check). On June 5th, 2021, I'd received a call and voice message from Mr. H*** indicating that he had recieved the package with the enclosed gas tank and that it was in good condition. Mr. H*** had previously explained to me that he had another project in progress and he wouldn't be able to get to mine for several weeks and that I might not receive the final painted gas tank back until late summer or very early fall. It is now 8 months later, and I have still not recieved my painted gas tank back as promised. I've called and emailed H*** Design many times over the last 4 months but have not recieved any response back from Mr. H*** or anyone else in his organization. I am now very concerned having spent nearly $700. in fees on this transaction, plus the $700 value of my tank which Mr. H*** has in his possession for a total value of $1,400. and I not recieved anything in return.Business response

Thank you for the follow up. I appreciate you keeping my case open until I receive the product that I had paid for (a motorcycle gas tank painted). On March 3rd, the company owner (Kent H**** called me and promised that the work would be completed within a few weeks. As of this date, March 18th, I'm still waiting to receive my gas tank. I'll keep you informed if anything changes. thanks again for all of your help.
