I signed an agreement with Ken Witt of Witt Remodeling on April 7, 2023 to do a bathroom remodel. I paid Witt Remodelling $21,220 which was a little more than half of the cost of the remodel. On May 26, 2023, I was informed by one of his employees that they had all been fired and he was closing shop. When I reached out to Ken, he just said sorry I am filing bankruptcy. So this contractor signed an agreement with me, took my money, and less than a month later claimed he is filing bankruptcy without doing anything on the project.Initial Complaint

Witt Remodeling did a master bath remodel for me. The bathtub faucet began leaking immediately after installation. In February, I filed a warranty claim with Witt and the owner, Ken Witt, indicated he was ordering parts to fix the freestanding tub faucet. I last heard from him in early May and attempted to set up an installation date. Since then, his email, phone number and FB site have been disconnected.
