I contacted Shaker Dance Academy to inform them that my card was being charged on behalf of my granddaughter. My daughter took her in for a trial class. The first class went ok so my daughter wanted to take her to a few more classes to see if it would work out, they informed us that she had a dance recital so I paid for what I thought was only the leotard. However to my surprise my card was being charged 160 a month for classes that were granddaughter never attended by the way but in any event I never consented to having my card charged monthly. When I contacted the company they stated they would look into it but told my daughter something different after she called to follow up and ensure the classes were cancelled. My granddaughter is 3 years old and cried whenever she was taken to class. However after trying several times to cancel, every time I contacted them they would give me the runaround. Once I informed them I had not authorized the transaction they should have ceased and desist and returned money however they did not. I cancelled the card to avoid anymore unauthorized transactions and somehow they were able to access my account without it at this point I am going to have to close my account to prevent any further charges as I am already out of $640. I want my money back and have already began dispute charges with my bank.Business response

Kristie,Attached is the registration form signed by ****** ******* (mom) and ******* ***** (grandmother) for glasses for granddaughters classes.This sounds as if there is miscommunication between mom and grandmother.Regards,Jonathan ****SDA Owner************
