              Hello I would like to make a complaint regarding me receiving an email stating my payment wasn't received and I'm being charged a return fee of $30 for the payment being sent back due to insufficient funds ,when the money was taken out of my account on Wednesday October 2nd and then returned back to my account on Saturday October 5th. I am now being punished for this when I did what I was supposed to do and Remax dropped the ball here not me this is the 3rd time that they dropped the ball and is making me accountable for their wrong doings and forcing me to pay extra for things I had no control over the money is now currently still in my account. I also reached out to Chase bank to make sure there was no problems and they are stating the same thing that it’s no way the payment was sent back due to insufficient funds because the funds are there and have been there other than October 2nd when the payment was payed. They said they can still see the funds in my account. I have been contacting the reps via email as well as on the portal but I’m getting nowhere with that. They are being very dry and dismissive and not even trying to act like they care about my concerns. I have asked that a manger contact me numerous of times due to complaints and no one will call me I don’t understand how a company can take their tenants money but not even have a way to speak with a live person that’s truly an inconvenience as well as unprofessional to us. I would like for not only the fee to be removed from my account but also for my online payment access be unlocked for I can continue to pay my rent via the portal I advised the rep that I was trying to go on there yesterday to pay the rent that was returned so that wouldn’t receive a late payment seeing as I paid my rent originally on the 2nd and I was then again dismissed and told I had to bring a money order to the office which is an inconvenience for me especially when I did nothing wrong in the first place

              If you ever see a company switch over to ReMax, renters beware. I lived in a building that was passed to two separate entities. I started with Holton Wise, then B2B Realty purchased, and then 2021, ReMax purchased the building under Mike Azzam. In the beginning they needed to see the inside of peoples apartments and I worked off site traveling on an off and they sent me an email saying I need to make the date. Fast forward on, they tried charging me $75 and served a notice to vacate the property at that point. I told them my profession and they relaxed. I met with Mike and him as a person doesn’t seem like his subordinates. The people who work under him or for the entity Remax, are a mess. Then after seeing my apartment, taking pictures, they sent me a message in the Tenant Portal to pay $615 deposit. I disputed this not once, but twice with each property management company trying to pull the same stunt. Why aren’t the landlords transferring the security deposits of renters who haven’t moved? Later there were a lot of issues in the building and I will admit they cleaned up very nicely. There was a lot of renovations made over time, including the garage doors on the property parking. However, a lot of the work was rushed and cheaply done which is very obvious because the garage door fell on the top of my car preventing me from going to work one day. Luckily there was no damage to my car since the garage doors were so cheap, there was no major impact. After a while they’ve done some landscaping, and they put rocks all around the building. Im unsure of what they are for but my apartment was basement level and they looked a lot better. My bed was next to my window since there is no central air conditioning and I need ventilation when I sleep, it was the best place for it. I woke up abruptly to a rock breaking the first panel of the window. If I didn’t have the window cracked, it could’ve injured me. After reporting the issue, they sent me a notice to vacate. Beware!
