**** was hired to handle payroll for my business. They failed to file the proper paperwork by the quarterly deadlines in the state as they are required. As a result I am being fined by the state. I was unable to reach them via email for months. Even after firing them they haven't paid the late fees I incurred and have taken money from my business account without my authorization.Business response

I have reached out to the proper business unit to get additional information. I hope to have more of an update in a few days once I have researched.
Thanks,
******* ****

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have reached out to **** multiple times before and after I filed this complaint and have been assured that they will have the “right person” contact me. No one from **** has reached out to me either by phone or email. They have made ZERO attempt to remedy this situation.

**** was engaged to provide payroll services for the Complainant’s company in April 2022. The state requires electronic filing of returns and payment of taxes. July 25, 2022, **** emailed Complainant requesting access to their state tax account for the performance of these tasks and indicating the second quarter report was due August 1st. Complainant’s August 13, 2022 email indicating **** had been granted access and the follow-up email approximately two weeks later were missed by ****.
Both payroll and tax amounts are withdrawn from a client’s account each time a payroll is processed. Fourth quarter 2022 is the last tax quarter **** was authorized to process for Complainant and no further tax amounts have been withdrawn from Complainant’s account.
**** does not currently have access to Complainant’s tax account. Since ****’s receipt of this complaint, **** has emailed Complainant requesting ****’s account access be reinstated for purposes of filing any missing tax returns and resolving the late fees but has received no response.
Complainant can respond to one of the recent emails from **** or email ****payroll@****.com once access is restored. **** will then file any missing returns and pay any taxes due. **** will accept responsibility and pay for any late fees and penalties. **** will notify Complainant by email once all the issues have been resolved and ****’s access to the tax account can be terminated at that time.
