Description: This company installed a complete heating/air conditioning system in our home in 2014. We had a part break on 06/15/2022. We called the company for service since the part is under a 10 year warranty. They had no record of the system being installed. Thus the system was not registered with the manufacturer and we have no way of filing a claim. We had another company replace the part the same day because Canal had no record of our install and they could not help us for another 3 days in 90+ heat. Now I have no way to file a claim on my own and calling Canal twice today they say they can not help me. It was never my responsibility to register the system. The company that came out and replaced the part on 6/15/2022 also said our compressor will also be going out soon and we will run into the same problem with Canal not honoring the warranty.Business response

“We spoke with Mr. *******, the morning of August 23rd and we were able to resolve the issue at hand. We have refunded Mr. ******* the $500 he requested from having to pay another company to do the work, since we were unable to assist him. He informed us, that he would also be calling the BBB to update his complaint indicating that this has been resolved."
