On 2/27/24, I received an initial estimate from A & J Roofing to replace my entire roof. This included an attachment on the house which had an active leak and being the main reason for the needed replacement. I informed the sales rep assisting me that this leak needed repaired prior to our VA loan being approved. I received an estimate for $10,500 at that time and was told by the sales rep that a 50% deposit was required prior to the work. I inquired about a Veteran's discount, which was honored. On 3/1/24, I received a new estimate reflecting said discount for $9850. I signed the contract electronically & agreed to a payment plan & to pay for extra wood that may be needed. The rep assured me that my leak would be fixed & I would have a new roof. My husband gave a $5000 check deposit to the owner that evening. On March 4th or 5th the contractors arrived. When I informed one of the workers of where exactly the leak was he simply said ok. Hours went by & I informed another worker & he stated that I needed to talk to the supervisor who was on his way because they didn't have instructions to fix that part of the roof. The supervisor Rob arrived within 10 min. He stated that the workers present weren't trained to fix that section of the roof because it required a different material that only him and the owner worked with. He also stated that he was going to call the owner Anthony to "find out what's going on". Anthony told him that I had refused to get that part of the roof fixed. When Rob related this to me with Anthony still on the phone, I stated that that was untrue. Anthony claims that he spoke to me, which he did not. I told him "he must have me confused with someone else because I didn't refuse anything". Rob then got off the phone & assured me not to worry, that it would be fixed but we had to wait due to a rainy forecast. They came twice & applied a bonding agent but it still leaks. Now they are refusing to fix & falsely accusing me of refusing the repair.

A&J replaced the siding, trim, fascia and gutters on my entire house during the Spring/Summer of 2022. Some of the trim has blown off and I need it repaired before additional damage occurs. I contacted ************************* mid-November 2022 and brought the issue to his attention . It's been a month now and no-one has come out to perform the work. I've attempted to contact the business, numerous times, via several phone numbers and there appears to be no working voicemail associated with the numbers.
