On or about 01/18/2024, a technician from Clover Electric came out to review a non working circuit in my basement which was affecting my outlets. Clover had completed work in my house in October 2023 on another circuit and the basement circuit had been working perfectly fine until their technicians arrived. The technician was unable to diagnose the problem after two and half hours and in turn provided me three quotes for additional work , which "may" fix the problem. The technician was working in around my basement, the two panels I have and other circuits to determine which circuit the outlets belonged to. After the technician left, I went downstairs to find that another circuit controlling the lights in a seperate part of my basement are not working. When I called to tell the company, "Bill" from Clover explained that it was just "unfortunate timing" not the fault of his technician. This is the SECOND time I have had an issue with a circuit in my house after Clover has completed "work".Business response

Hello,
On 1/18/24 We had a technician visit with ******* to look into some basement outlets that were not working. Our technician was onsite for a little over 2 hours and did a diagnosis to find out if our work in October caused this to happen. The technician found that it was a separate issue and left additional options get the outlets working again.
We unfortunately made the mistake of jumping to conclusions today and informed her that her new issue of the basement lights not working was not in result to our technician from yesterday. After speaking to the technician we found that he likely left the breaker for the basement lights in the off position during his diagnosis of the basement outlets yesterday. We contacted ******* back immediately to apologize and send a technician to help but she had already found another electrician. We understandably lost her trust today and regret that. I have since refunded her the service charge from yesterday.
In regards to refunding for the work performed in October we will not be doing this as we found that we did not cause the lose of power to the outlets. If the new electrician uncovers different findings then we ask to please submit their invoice for review and we will handle it accordingly.
I do personally apologize for Clover Electric jumping to conclusions today and hope that your basement lights can be resolved quickly. Please let me know if there is anything we can do to help.
