I am writing to express my concerns regarding a recent experience I had at the Jake Sweeney Mitsubishi dealership located in Tri-County. A complimentary 27-point inspection was performed on 10-14-2023, and there has been a significant delay in the delivery of documents, including the receipt and service recommendations, and any other pertinent paperwork related to this transaction. I understand the importance of completing the paperwork promptly to ensure a smooth transition within a service situation, and compliance with any related legal requirements. The now two week delay in receiving these documents has caused inconvenience and frustration on my end. I request your immediate attention to this matter and ask that you expedite the processing and dispatch of the required documentation. A timely receipt of the documentation is warranted for finalizing my records, insurance, and other obligations associated with the purchase. I trust that you understand the urgency of this matter and will take the necessary steps to resolve it promptly. If there are any unforeseen circumstances causing the delay, I would appreciate being informed of the situation and provided with an estimated timeframe for when I can expect to receive the required documents. Mike, the Service Manager at this facility, promised he would look into it and effect a response within a day or so. As I have heard nothing and seen nothing way past this proposed time frame, not to mention it should have been taken care of of two weeks prior, obviously, it is a pathetic and sad example of customer service. It is also sad that I would have to resort to notifying the BBB and Attorney General about this abysmal treatment of long-time customers. On 12/15/2022 I p purchased a vehicle two days later it was in the shop because of certain engine service light was on picked up the car three days later back in the shop, engine, light on company replaced flex made pipe downstream, O2 exhaust gasket, pipe, gasket, catalytic converter and sensor taken home. One week later started smoking in a strange noise coming from the engine taken back up there to the shop on one 12 foot in shop to replace after market parts still in shop. I’ve talk to Jake Sweeney told him I no longer want to car. They said the bank said we had to stay in it for six months so we call the bank on February no no no will take it back January 17 and the bank said that they did not say that I wish to return to Jake Sweeney on the 20th of this month January again talking to them about a total update on the vehicle replacement if possible, see what they’re going to do but my wife drives a car at night and I’m very nervous about her driving a car and it might give out on her.
