I dropped off 2 hydraulic cylinders to have them resealed and have a bushing replaced also 2 hydraulic lines made well they strung me along for a month. Also avoiding my phone calls well finally I said enough and went picked up my cylinders that looked terrible and unfinished, the only thing that was done was two lines where made and partially resealed and nothing else. They cut my cap off to one of the cylinders and in process messed up the threads to put a new one on and realized there was no way to fix unless they replaced it with new cylinder and wasn’t goin to do that beins there 2000 to replace, when I picked them up the charged me 650 dollars and neither cylinder was repaired and would like some kind of advice and to also let others know to be careful when dealing with these people! Not counting the money I lost from my truck being down for a month and I had pay 650 dollars to them for messing my cylinders up and now I have to probably buy a new cylinder for 2200 because they strip my threads out on the one and hid it from me till after I paid and got home and realized what they done and they refuse to make it right and this is wrong in so many ways! Even when you go to have cylinders resealed it only cost around 200 for each one so they way over charged and didn’t even fix them, now I’m left with cylinders that are not usable and there in way worse condition then when I brought them there and most probably have to buy new ones because they didn’t wanna admit they messed them up!! Please help and to anyone thinking of going there for service you might wanna re think and consider a better hydraulic repair shop..Business response

Cincinnati Driveline always takes the time to address concerns and comments about our business. We strive everyday to achieve a high level of respect and trust with our customers.
In this particular circumstance, the customer was not ignored, however the customer was rude and irate on every phone call
from the beginning to the end. The customer was charged for 4 hours of labor, which was no where
near the actual time that was spent trying to locate obsolete parts for the cylinders. The amount of $650 also included
new hydraulic hoses that were made separately. The cylinders were old and seized together, the customer was instructed
on the procedure of taking them apart may cause them to break. The customer gave us permission to proceed via phone.
The two cylinders were 100% sealed with new seals. The customer became upset and it was a mutual decision for the customer
to come pick up the cylinders if he was unhappy with our progress thus far. Customer agreed and came in to pick up cylinders
knowing that one was not yet completed. We are very sorry for this unfortunate exchange. In any business setting it is favorable
to take care of problems right at the beginning. This issue could not be rectified in the beginning, as the customer was always too
impatient and unfortunately did not give us the time or consideration to finish the job.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.
Regards,
***** ****i trusted there supposedly 100 yrs experience and they cut the cap off as in the pic I original sent so bad they destroyed the cylinder so now I have no choice but to purchase a new cylinder that cost 2300 dollars! I took it to another hydraulic company and they sayin there isn’t enough thread on the the cylinder to put a new cap back on beins this holds so much pressure they not wanting to fix it. So in that situation then how would Cincy driveline fix it and it be safe because what I think was happening is they were t callin or answering my phone calls for days and final I got upset and I think they knew anybody would get upset and come get them and that’s is wat they wanted beins they are in fixable and I was never irrate until he told me the bill for twp cylinders that were not fixed and it has been a month and there no way it should took a month to do the work I wanted and also they are a hydraulic company my it isn’t like I dropped them off at a lawnmower shop even tho I feel like it would probably been better service so now I’m stuck buyin a 2300 cylinder from them not doin the job correct and this never should of been a issues there are many things he could of done he could told me he could t do the job I would been happy to pick them up and taken them somewhere else and not counting I lost a month of work all because his lies and this isn’t right!!
