My floor is coming apart I have tried to talk to the store and the supervisor and all I get is we will see whin I can get you on the board. We have not had to many problems with the flooring but the time before this and this time it feels like they could care less. The installer told me that when I had a problem just call him personally and not to mess with buddy's I tried to get him to come and fix the problem the 2nd time the 1st time it took a while but they made it. I would like to have my floor fixed and not be put off.

We ordered carpet 8/19/23 to be installed 10/13/23 20% over actual sq foot of carpet needed was added / standard addition per Buddies One day installation was told by salesman (took 2 and we had to move our furniture to ensure it was completed in the one day per salesman) Carpet installers x2 showed up on the 13 as scheduled. Spoke to both of the gentlemen installing carpet and was VERY clear I wanted all scrap material from new carpet. They both agreed and no issues The job turned into 2 day project (instead of the one day as told) due to family issue with one of the installers Their van was full of waste from the removal of all the old carpet and could not take the trimming from new carpet so they left bags of trash in garage until they returned the following day No large pieces of scrap new carpet was made or discarded. I could see through the clear bags what they removed and was throwing away When project was over, one of the carpet installer handed me a 1 1/2 foot x 1 1/2 foot piece of carpet and stated that was the only scrap left. With getting charged 20% sq foot more than need there should of been a large piece of carpet left (which one of the installer stated during the install process that there would be a large roll of carpeting left). These installers were so good that they generate little to no waste when installing the new carpet approx 5% waste at the most. Thats pretty good, you can tell these where not new carpet installers and knew what they were doing. After the job was completed installers hurried out of the house leaving with 3 rolls of carpet still in their van. Easy to see since I have open my garage and give them the trash from the day before I called salesman who I purchased carpet from and communicated my concerns. I was told to call costumer service, repair gentleman came out and leftover carpet did not add up to what should be leftover based on the measurement that salesman took and the 20% overage added to order. Its almost impossible to get a piece that size left, should be a long run the length of the roll (stated from a Buddies employee that I spoke to on the phone) I also spoke to district manager and sent photos of carpet rolls that the installer left with I have followed their chain of command and have not been able to get issue resolved in an acceptable manor. They want to give me a 3' piece of carpet, not acceptable

I hired buddy’s flooring back in October of 2022. We had an agreement that the flooring would be installed prior to Saturday, October 29, 2022. As I was planning a holiday party for that night. The floor was not finished. And what was finished was poorly done. The steps were falling off after not even having them on for a week. The floor was not properly leveled out to the laying of the floor, so there are an excessive amounts of dips and imperfections in the flooring. The baseboards were only put onto half of the walls. The other baseboards did not get put up at all. Buddy’s flooring has returned to my house 3 different times to “assess” the damage. But we are now midway through March and the flooring has yet to be fixed. I have reached out to the store, the store manager, the sales man who sold me the floor, and have been able to get any resolutions for this problem. At this point in time, the job still has not been completed or corrected. No one from the store is keeping contact with me. And instead the store has reached out saying that my account will be sent to collections.

We have an appointment with the homeowner scheduled for March 23rd to complete repairs.  The appointment is with an installer the homeowner requested to work on their project.  We have reached out to the homeowner directly to confirm that she has all of the necessary dates and information for the scheduled repairs.  Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
