They are a joke. I wouldn't recommend Busam Nissan to anyone. 1st off, we provided a $1200 down payment and we got approved for a 2021 **** escape at 399 a month. After finalizing the deal and driving off happy, days later we were blindsided with a hike in the payments (it was $21 more- no problem). Make 2 weeks later, it was another spike in the payments, from $420 to $639. Obviously this was out of our budget so we decided to return the car. With many calls on our behalf about returning our down payment, and even promised by the financial department that he would personally deliver our repayment....... nothing... call after call and it's still empty promises. I JUST WANT OUR MONEY BACK. We never received a good explanation for the delay or a check for the down payment. I feel so used. We apologize for the experience you received. When you state "got approved" this means the bank conditionally approved you to finance the vehicle subject to verification of your application. The only reason terms or conditions would change is if the bank was unable to verify information you provided such as employment information or verification of the residence you provide. It appears that the dealership allowed you to drive the vehicle home believing the information you provided to be correct and then attempted to work with you when the bank reviewed the information. If you provided a downpayment, the dealership would return said payment upon return of the vehicle less any damages or payments due. If you had the vehicle for 2 months and never made a monthly payment, those payments would be subtracted from your down payment.Review from Upset C

If I could give NO STARS I would but I unfortunately I cant give a review without it. There was all kinds of red flags looking at this dealership and now Im in a **** show. Im gonna stick to the main reason of this review because of the length this post would be after I told everything would be 500 page book, maybe even a series on everything done wrong at a dealership. This man told me to sign this paper 3x to approve running my credit and I declined because I wasnt ready for it. I wanted to make sure I liked the car before they ran my credit. I looked at maybe 2 or 3 cars. My credit was ran 6x. This man refuse to tell me how much each of the cars were until the very end after I got done test driving them all. Not separately all. Not I got done with one car he told me about it, he waited until the very end. He claimed we would talk numbers after showing me another car again and again and I kept trying to leave. In short this was the worst place to ever visit and I hope they never sell another car.Busam Nissan Response

We apologize for the negative experience you had with the dealership. Lack of transparency from the sales consultant especially in terms of pricing does not meet our expectations of the staff. Without more information to verify which consultant you spoke with, our belief is you would be financing the vehicle and the sales consultant was simply stating we could not provide you with any payment information prior to submitting information to a lender. If that was not the case we apologize for the inconvenience but you stated we ran your credit 6 times. The dealership can pull different credit reports from companies like ********** or ******** but they only pull your credit one time. The lenders that take a look at financing a vehicle for you will also pull your credit report. I apologize that we did not meet your expectations but we have these processes in place for a reason. The sales consultants work to match your needs with the proper vehicle because they are compensated for doing so. Also we make sure that our vehicles are listed on our website and others with proper pricing and options listed.Review from Tiffany R.

Bad business all the way around got a 2015 buick ******* that had issues from the start when it came down to fixing them everything is on me high car note no help new person running the place and there very unprofessional i would never ger another vehicle from them again i wouldnt advise any one else to eitherBusam Nissan Response

Please get in touch with us at ********************** Unfortunately the high car note is due to terms from the lender but if you have issues with the vehicle that you think should be resolved please let us know. If the issues were disclosed or expected due to the age and use of the vehicle then we will clearly explain that. We didnt sell you a new vehicle so there should be some expectations that come with a used car but we are not in the business to pass off a problem vehicle to a customer. If we are aware of issues prior to selling, we will simply wholesale the vehicle or auction it off so we avoid future problems and unhappy customers.Review from Wil B

The whole establishment is a joke. They don’t communicate with one another and they don’t help the customers at all. Got a vehicle from them first off paid more then what I was originally quoted, only had the car for a week before the dashboard started lighting up took the car back to them and it was sitting for months before someone actually called to say the car was ready, Get to the establishment and they had no idea why the car was sitting, no one looked at it, no one communicated the issues with the car so the vehicle was just sitting did not get serviced. Finally got serviced only to find out the car was recalled anyway. Definitely would not recommend going to this place at all. The only good thing is they gave us a rental to use while the car was being “serviced” and they harassed us about getting the rental back only to have no vehicle because they couldn’t do anything. Wasted time and definitely a lot of money dealing with this dealership.Busam Nissan Response

The Jamaican car plug is finessing people out their money, he’s janky just like the rest of the employees up there. He’s selling cars to people who does not have license to drive off the lot where to the point when your temporary tags are expired you can not get hard plates for the car. He rude and doesn’t communicate properly just like the rest of his bogus team. We got approve for an car loan through a bank called ******** ******** services, did the Welcome Call & Employee verification just to find out the bank revised and decline the application in sent it back in January and February. It was never brought to our attention until we tried paying our first payment on the car, we couldn’t make a payment because the bank couldn’t find our information no more. We end up having to get new temporary tags and still haven’t paid our first payment because the dealership been giving us the run a round and not returning none our calls. I Do Not highly recommend no one to buy a car from this place!Busam Nissan Response

******, we apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced at our dealership. The bank may require a welcome call with each new customer and will call their employer as well. In this case, the bank was unable to verify employment and did not finish processing the loan. The sales staff was working with other banks to obtain financing. Buyer beware! Do not visit Busam Nissan unless you're open to being led on with a good price, and then having the quoted price, in writing, changed right before closing. I had planned to buy a 2021 Rogue Platinum from Busam Nissan, and even put down the $500 deposit, however, was convinced by them to wait for the 2022 model, with assurances of a similar price, only to have that raised by $6,000 at the last minute. They promised me the lower price and actually persuaded me not to purchase the from other dealerships, based on quotes received by text message. I relied on those numbers, and withheld from purchasing elsewhere, even when given decent prices. However, at the last minute, management at Busam increased their quote and refused to honor their initial price. **** we apologize for the experience you received at Busam Nissan. Please know that the market conditions were a major factor that we never envisioned. There must have been a reason to wait for the 2022 model versus purchasing the 2021. Was it availability? Was the color you wanted no longer available in a 2021? Regardless, that is not a reason to raise the sales price just for greed. But I am sure part of the price difference was less incentives from Nissan and increase in cost from model year. From what we understand, the vehicles became extremely scarce with everything that was going on in the market with the chip crisis. But that is no reason to go against the promise to be similar in price by raising the price so significantly. We hope that one day we may get the chance to make it up to you. I think you will find this was an anomaly due to the market conditions and this was less out of greed. Either way the optics of the situation are very poor and we can only apologize for it.
