I purchased 10 windows from *** ***** Building Supply for my home thru Glenn at Gem Services Group that he agreed to install for a contractual cost. He installed 6 of the windows in a 9 month time span and after that with many unanswered phone calls and text messages, I was forced to hire another contractor to finish the job. Upon inspection by the new contractor, I was told that the windows Glenn installed were not properly caulked and insulated. Previous to all this chaos, I had referred friends of mine to Glenn to create a sun room in their home. The finished product was marginal and one of the floor tiles he installed was un level and causing people to trip. My friends were also ignored by Glenn when they asked him to fix the tile. Glenn M***** is not a reliable contractor. He is not expeditious, does not complete his projects and does not do any follow up if the project has mistakes. I would not recommend Gem Services Group/Glenn M***** for any home improvement project.

********************** in the above review failed to mention that we had been dating during this project and I terminated the relationship during the project. After so she made it an unfriendly work environment and when I attempted to finish the windows she would not allow me access. As for the one not insulated properly, they simply were not completed at that time. She also failed to mention the numerous other projects that I did for her at now cost and around my other paying clients. As for the friends project, I have been in contact and have plans to go back and fix the tile in question.

I anticipated the reply Gem Services Group/***********************. First, I'll address the dating/termination issue. It is true that he initiated "terminating the relationship". I believe it was amicable because he still asked me to potty his Dogs when he couldn't in a timely manner after the termination. So, the unfriendliness was due to GSG not performing and completing the window project at my home in a timely manner. GSG was paid in full for the materials and labor in July 2021. The windows were ordered on July 28, 2021 by GSG and manufacture of them was complete on September 1, 2021. The windows were picked up and delivered to my garage on October 11, 2021. GSG started installing the windows the end of October. The "termination of relationship" occurred the first week of November 2021. He finished installing 6 of 10 windows by the end of November. During that time, he watched television in my home while he ate meals that I purchased for him at Chipotles and Bibibop. So I would not regard that as an" unfriendly environment". The installation of the windows ended the end of November. I text messaged and called *********************** from December 2021 to February 2022 with no response. On February 26th, I received a phone call from ***** asking me to take him to ****** Hospital. I couldn't do that because I was recovering from Covid. He sent a text message to me at 10:44 pm informing me that he was okay. He came to my home unannounced on March 14, 2022 and removed 2 awnings that he verbally agreed to do. The next contact from him, was on April 8, 2022 by text that he would be resuming the window project on April 10. By this time, I had decided that I would not permit him to complete the window project due to the time lapse of 5 months. It was very difficult finding a contractor to complete the job because most contractors do not prefer to complete/correct projects started by other contractors. I finally found one and they had to remove and replace the 6 windows that GSG installed due to sloppy/improper caulking plus ***** had reused the existing fiberglass insulation for my new windows. So to do that, and install the remaining 4 windows cost me out of pocket the amount of $1,400.00. So with this, I stand by my initial review as a warning to others.
