In November 2023 we contacted Cincy Pool Service who also runs Cincy Fireplace and asked to quote changing our fireplace from propane to natural gas. Mike W******, owner came out and met with my wife then quoted $3195 to run a gas line through basement and up to fireplace. Mike said he would need to cut through the basement ceiling the length of the new pipe and it would be completed my Christmas: at this stage we did not have a working fireplace. He never showed up in December then told us he would be here 1st week of January but did not show-up again. When he did finally show-up during the 2nd week of January he had his 4 yr old son with him crying in our basement. The scope of work changed dramatically as he did not need to cut a long opening in our basement ceiling and instead he merely ripped a small(3x3 inch) hold to slide the new pipe through the finished area in basement but the pipe, fittings and etc. were not done to **** nor ******** County codes, so ******** County nor **** could not sign off on the work nor install the gas meter. Mike, Cincy Pool had to come back 3x to fix lines, add shut-off valves and add a ground wire but it still was not correct. **** still would not certify job after the 3rd time due to Cincy Pool's poor job. I had to hire a plumber to finish the job...Mike W****** and I mutually agreed to $2500 total for the job since the scope changed and he never completed the job. We paid $2500 to Mike W****** via Zelle on January 30, 2024 as promised then Mr. W****** texted me on February 27, 2024 stating he is sending the balance of $695 to a collection agency & has threaten to ruin my credit. Cincy Fireplace/Cincy Pool Service is a fraudulent business and very unethical and the owner, Michael J. W****** Jr. does very poor jobs and does not live up to his word nor his quotes.

We agreed to build a pool with Mike W/ Cincy Pool Service on March 29, 2021 and the pool cover was part of the agreement. We paid him in full when the pool was completed in September 2022 which the pool cover was included in that payment. However, we were told by Mike W (owner) that it was on back order and it would be delivered when he closed the pool mid October 2021. It was not delivered and a temporary tarp was used in its place without telling us. After a conversation **** said it’s still on back order and would let us know when it was in. Several months went by and we reached to him about the pool cover and he replied that it was delivered to him. He agreed to open the pool for free to make up for the issues we had with the tarp over the winter on May 2, 2022 in which he never showed up to open the pool or deliver the cover. Numerous calls and texts went unanswered for a week until he answered a call on May 11 , 2022. He said his crew would drop the cover at our residence that day on May 11, 2022, when his company was opening another pool at a nearby location. The cover was never delivered. When we went to the residence where his crew was opening a pool the crew at that location did not have our cover nor did they know they were supposed to. We tried multiple times over the course of May 11th and 12th to contact **** to get confirmation on when we can receive our pool cover and have received no response to texts or emails. Based on our prior experience and many other of his clients we know zero communication is par for the course. We paid for our cover and deserve to get it.
