Destroyed many plants in my yard. Seeking reimbursement for damages.

This customer is one of 53 condo owners in a Homeowners Association that we were hired to begin servicing for landscaping in the spring of 2023. After servicing the property one time, we began receiving complaints from this resident. The claims she made directly to us, and again here to the BBB are false. We hadn’t begun trimming anything at that point, and did not touch any of the plants she is referring to in her complaint. Her beds look identical to how they looked before we had ever serviced the property since we had not yet started our spring cleanup. Additionally she made racist remarks about our crew, calling them “inner city thugs”. We approached the HOA board regarding the harassment, and they informed us that this resident is a habitual complainer of many vendors that have serviced their HOA. The HOA told us to completely stop servicing her property altogether, and since they are the ones who hired us, we followed their direction and have not serviced the property again. As a small locally owned company, we work hard on our reputation. It is unfortunate that this condo owner has to make false claims against us, hurting the good reputation we have built over the last 11 years.
