  On March 25,2024 Absolute roofing came out and installed a new roof due to hail damage. They also were to replace my screens, aluminum around the windows and the corner of my siding. It took months to get this done with numerous calls from the office wanting payment for an incomplete job. On July 26,2024 I was dusting the ceiling in my hall and noticed a portion where the drywall in coming down. I sent pictures to the salesman with no response. One week later I had still heard nothing. I called the office and found out he was going through some issues. On August 21 ***** was to come out and look at what was going on. I waited 2 1/2 hours and he never showed. 3 hours later he called and said there was an issue with a job. He wanted to come over but I was gone for the evening. He rescheduled for September 3. Again he never showed this time I was told he forgot. On September 6 he finally came out and saw my ceiling. He went up in the attic and I told him what board I thought went through. He kept pulling on it and said that wasn’t it because it wasn’t moving. I had to explain that it was a board that went from the joist to the roof and by dropping bundles of shingles on the roof the board dislodged and is resting on the board above my hall ceiling. I explained that it could not move because the roof was resting on it. Upon investigating it he agreed. He said he would send **** out in 2 weeks to put a **** in the attic and move the board back where it belongs. He said he would fix my ceiling as well. 5 1/2 weeks later I have heard nothing. I called yesterday and talked to a woman in the office who said she had to check with the owner, *******. I hadn’t heard anything so I called again she said that she didn’t see him yesterday and they were having water issues in one of their buildings. She said the contract stated that it did not cover interior damage. I never got a contract. ***** told me on September 6,2024 that he would have this fixed.

  The consumer heard from the business today and they said they would come out within the next week to resolve the issue. She asked that we close the complaint. I told her if they do not resolve the issue she can reach back out.
