I paid 1,150 towards a 2011 Chevy Malibu but with taxes he stated the total of 1182.50 so I paid that amount. I gave him a total of 500 in cash and he charged the rest on my debit card, but he never gave me the car or my money back. The owner only had given me a receipt for the money down payment and that’s it. When I asked for my money back and I didn’t want the car anymore due to the inconsistency with receiving the car he refused and attempted to switch out cars an I replied that’s not what I paid for so I would just like my money back.Initial Complaint

Recently I’ve been the victim of a bad “tint” job. On Friday may 20th 2022 I scheduled an appointment at Jealousy auto detailing and tint to get my windows tinted on my car. The owner was late to the appointment, staff was late which had me waiting 4 hours to get 2 windows tinted. After I left the shop on Friday, Saturday morning I started to notice bubbles all around the tint not to mention there was a knick in the tint that was visibly noticeable. Today I rolled the windows down to notice the awful cutting job at the top of the car window it looked like I had just done the tint myself with some cheap window tint off ******. I paid $178.00 for this job to be done . After I wasn’t happy on Saturday I reached out to the shop owner and he didn’t respond to my messages until yesterday told me to bring the car back in today for them to see the problems . We had arrangements to meet at his shop at 12 today. He showed up 35 minutes late and told me his shop is not opened today . He told me his staff is not answering his phone calls that he’s not opened today and that I would have to bring the car back in another day. I was upset and went off on him. After he realized how bad the tint actually was after telling me I’m the reason it’s so bad that I scratched the window myself he agreed to have a staff member come in to take the tint off the window and give me my money Back. I waited another 3 hours for them to remove the window tint off the car. My sister who was with me kept asking them “you’re taking the tint off the windows correct?” The owner and a staff member both told her yes . To come find out they didn’t do that. They put new tint on the window and this tint job was worse then before . There’s multiple scratches going up the tint about 4/5 inches long . The owner told me it was my window that was scratched needless to say this is a brand new car so I know that not the case. He agreed to give me my money back later today and now he is not answering my calls or textBusiness response
