Bad service provider, tower and service ALWAYS DOWN. Customer service is horrible. I still receive bills but I haven't had good service 6 mo. I am luck if I get two weeks of internet in a months time. If you have other options choose those!

Hometown Cable is in the process of doing some major tower upgrades and as a result, have caused some customer service issues that we're having problems addressing. In the end, these tower upgrades will serve to better service the customers with increased speeds and network reliability, but as the saying goes, "Rome wasn't built in a day". Unfortunately, the volume of work required is taxing our small company. We are soliciting outside assistance through consultants, tower contractors, and other avenues to expedite the process. While I understand any outage is certainly a major inconvenience, we have issued credits (fee forgiveness) for our service during the outage to the customer. This customer has received multiple credits throughout this transition. Even while service was up but inconsistent. We appreciate the understanding and continued cooperation through this upgrade.Review from Michael J

Scam town cable. They ran a temporary line from my neighbors house to mine and left it laying in my yard for several months. On excuse after a nother. The line got cought in my lawnmower. They never came out to fix it despite my several attempts to contact them. This has been too years now and guess what. They are still sending me a bill. Scam town cable.Hometown Cable LLC Response

Customer signed up for service is January when ground was frozen. They ran a temp line so he could receive service. They planned to bury the line when the ground thawed and the crew had the time to do it. Customer was aware of this and was told this on multiple occasions.
Customer was turned off for non payment in August after over 3 months past due bills. He was then charged for his equipment and for early termination for breach of contract.Review from CY R

I have had this internet for quite a few years. When I first got the service it was great and now it is just horrible. I have made numerous calls to them because my service is down more than up and haven't received a single solution. No one answers the phone or returns your phone call. The service they offer is terrible and misleading because they don't hesitate to take your money but give nothing in return. They need to be put out of business. BEWWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND FIND SOMETHING BETTER. I DID.
