Jet Edge advertised and put into its Reserve Membership contract, a guaranteed refund of all money held by the company after a member cancelled their membership and requested a full refund. I requested cancellation and a refund, waited the 30-day period for cancellation, and another 10 days for processing the refund. Jet Edge (now bought out by Vista Jet) didn't refund my account balance for another 20 days after this agreed period. I made calls and sent emails daily. I told them I expected interest paid on the amount they held beyond the agreed period. They were mostly unresponsive in my attempts to get my refund, and now they have gone completely unresponsive to my demands for interest for the late period. They held $358,518.01 for 20 days beyond the contractual agreement. I would have collected 3.6% interest during this period. Others need to be aware of how hard it is to even get them to refund your account balance at all much less as agreed in their contract. I would appreciate your help in getting them to send me interest for failure to refund as required by their contract.Business response
