Ordered a tie bar and rt front fender for my 2018 Toyota Camry on 7/5/2022. When I went home that evening I found a tie bar much cheaper online so I called to cancel the order on 7/6/2022 @ 8:19AM. I spoked to the ordered gentleman that work there & he told me he would cancel it. They lied and said I came in later and they had gotten the part in & I refused to buy it then. On 7/6/2022 They told me they would refund my money. When my bill came from Barclays w/o the refund the told me to file a dispute which I then did. I never received the money on my bill. I also tried to buy a rt front fender. They got the wrong year for the part. I noticed the year written on the inside of the fender when I was putting it in my car. I brought the fender back and told them it was the wrong one. The guaranteed the fit. When the auto body shop tried to install it the part did not fit. I picked the part up from the shop to return it for my money back. All City Auto refused to give me my money back and refused to take the fender back. They said it was beyond 30 days. I was never told anything about 30 days when they guaranteed it.Business response

Business stated they refunded the tie rod, per the request from customer. Fender could not be returned because it was past the 30 day return period.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I was never provided a refund as I have not receive any money back on my Barclay’s Card to date.Regarding the fender. I was guaranteed fit when I tried to return it on the day I picked up the fender and nothing was ever said to me about a 30 days return policy. Otherwise I would have asked Mike, the auto body repair guy, to check the fit sooner than when he got all the materials to fix the car. That’s not very professional to guarantee fit but not inform you of the return policy especially considering that I had already told them I thought it was not the right part!

***** *********** bought a tie bar and a fender. She found a cheaper tie bar and returned her money. I refunded her credit card. She tried to get the credit card company to refund the full amount. Enclosed is paperwork sent to credit card company where they found in our favor. She never returned the fender so they did not give credit for it.
The fender she ordered came from another auto wrecker because she wanted that color. That fender fits 2018 to 2020 Camry and is why it had a later year on it. I know it would fit and believer she another cheaper fender. I could have exchanged it but she was unwilling; the 30 day warranty by replacement on top of our receipt had expired. We refunded the tie bar but not the fender because she never brought it back for us to exchange. The purchase was 7-6-22 and now she wants us to refund. She will not get her money back.

I have not gotten the refund on the Barclays Masters card. I am not sure what happened with the credit they say that provided but it has never shown up on my card as of today’s date.
In regards to the fender. I tried to return the fender to them the day I picked up the part. I took the fender out to my car to load it. When I flipped it over to sit it on the back seat I noticed that written in permanent marker it said 2016 & 2017 on it. My car is a 2018. I took the fender back inside right away. I never even left the parking lot before trying to return it. Had it not been for the owner telling me it was the right part and guaranteeing fit I would not have left with the wrong fender that day. They guaranteed the fit but there was no mention of a 30 day return policy. Why should I be stuck with the wrong fender? I didn’t order the wrong part. Shouldn’t this be part of being a reputable business, proving the customer with the part they ordered? Is it a good business practice to not check to make sure the part you received is what you ordered? Is it a good business practice to guarantee the fit of part and then refuse to take the return???
I’m not sure how I am supposed to protect myself as a consumer from bad business practices like these if the better business bureau cannot help me. Other customers need to be aware of their practices and that they cannot be trusted.
I have not gotten a credit for the tie bar and I do not know what I am supposed to do with a fender that doesn’t fit my car? Please provide me with some assistance at this point.
Thank you,
*****
