Took car in for squeak on left front of my car.. when I got car back after paying tilt was making the same noise. I took car back and they told me the new part was making another part squeak which doesnt make sense.Business response

We inspected and advised of needed repairs ******************** deferred or refused at this time the work that was needed and recommended due to cost and see how this takes care of the problem. Now that the new struts are installed on the vehicle it rides better the suspension is somewhat tighter.this will make the control arms that have worn bushings and bad ball joints knock and rattle more noticeable.we recommended these as at time of first repairs were done, he refused then. We relooked and explained to the customer what needed to be done to repair his problem he does not want to pay to have them repaired. it is noted on original repair order billing # ***** 6/19/2024 as well as his signature is on it as understanding the signed off on the work to be done and that was deferred at that time if ******************** wishes for us to repair the vehicle there will be a charge to do so as is explained on the repair order.
I WOULD OFFER HELP IN THE REPAIR BUT IN NO CASE DO I SEE WHERE WE ARE GOING TO PAY TO HAVE THIS REPAIRED FOR HIM AT ALL.

I totally disagree with their response. My car is no better and rides no better than it did before I took it in. The squeak in the front left is worse. Dont understand how that is possible. They tell me a new part is making it worse, cant be.
To get double charged for a part it should not squeak. How is double charging for a part fair?? In my honest opinion I got screwed!Business response

I CALLED ****************************; about his 2004 ******** noise asked him to bring it in so i could look it over and hear the noise we are speking of he came in on 07/15/2024 and i drove vehicle put it in the air listened to the sound there are no grease fitings in the front end on the ball joint and control arms i used a grease needle and greased the ball joints and upper and lower control arms that were dry and making noise which we had recommended these for repair at time of service which ********************* had stated he didnt see those at sametime he stated he understood and we didnt try this before after he came back with the noise to be adressed he was satsfyed with what i tried for a few days to see how the grease would work in to the ball jonts and control arms i called on thursday the 19th he told me it had no gotten any better at this point than initial after i greased them if i would get him a estimate for the control arm and ball joints so he could see about getting them replaced he would get back with me when he was ready to have them done i sent over the estimate on the 19th viya text comunication at last spoken he was ok moving forwaard and will call to confirm he got this on monday 07/22/24Customer response

Called Wednesday 7/20, to get a 2nd opinion on repairs of a car I just bought. Another shop quoted 4k, so I wanted to be sure. Lady told me a pre purchase inspection would do a top to bottom inspection at $165. Cool. Friday, 7/21 heard nothing, called all day, phones went to voice-mail. Finally they call at 430, tell me they can't get the wheels off but I need breaks and have 20+ codes, but have no idea what they are, or what my car needs to fix the codes... quotes for breaks only. I expressed my dissatisfaction, and want the complete inspection and estimate to fix my car... like I made the appointment for. Monday, 7/25... call the shop, all they still have is the breaks estimated and no further diagnostic on the codes. So, what am I paying for then? She said "the hour inspection..." so why did you keep my car for 4 days? "To diagnose the codes", she said, but you didn't? No she said. So i asked for a manager, as I have a quote and inspection done from a different shop done in 3 hours, and it is complete with diagnostics, and they did remove my wheels with their universal lock remedy kit. The estimate was over 4k, and all you found were breaks, without actually looking at them... I'm not paying for a service you didn't provide. They told me they are out sick, and the other isn't here... I have to pay if I want my car. So i paid for nothing. The lady Kelly apologized for the dissatisfaction, yet did nothing to correct it. Even though I told her they didn't do any of what I made the appointment for, and kept my car for 4 days, and didn't answer my calls or questions. Providing copy of their invoice admitting to all I've said, as well as the other shops actual estimate and diagnosics they completed in 3 hours.Business response

MRS ***** CALLED IN REQUESTED A USED CAR INSPECTION, we explained for the cost around 165.00
We offer such a service to customers as a look to see what they are buying it is not by any means an end all get all service it is a start and good look. We tell customers we have no crystal ball to tell what is going on. If there are codes or service engine lights on we pull the code and if some info is reasonable to get we will if there are lots of problems it will go further and required more diagnostic testing time.
MR ****** brought the car in on the date scheduled for the inspection and we drove him back home as part of our shuttle service we offer to help our customers whom do or cannot get a ride home or sometimes to work.
We did the inspection as requested and advised with the visual inspection as quickly as we could with the system failures we were experiencing. We took pictures documented what we had seen and could get to We asked for the lug lock so we could take the wheels off to do a thorough inspection of the brake system. We could tell with a test drive that the brake rotors were warped and that we needed to go further looking through the wheels we could see the brakes need to be repaired.
When we called the customer and asked for the lug key Mr. ****** stated it maybe in the car and when we asked did the last shop or Tuffy who had given them an estimate for repairs (that was given to us and returned when they picked car up.) when they dropped the car off for us to confirm what they stated the need was.
We asked have the wheels been off at the time maybe they had the key? He stated at that time to my service advisor no they did not that is when Mrs ***** took the phone from Mr. ****** as my service advisor noted and stated he does not know what he is talking about.
She wanted to know why we hadn’t just pulled the wheels any competent repair shop should have the tools to take them off then Became very combative wanted to know why we had not taken the wheels off to complete inspection of the brakes and did the diagnostic testing complete.
I will say we do not just destroy or pull lock lugs without a customer authorizing it due to lugs maybe destroyed and I do not feel like buying lugs due to them loosing or misplacing there lock lug key or the lugs get destroyed pulling them off and cannot be reused without them knowing what is going on.
As for communication we had without notice an internet and phone service system that went down starting Monday afternoon we lost all systems on our computer system inspection system through breeze line which is wow business internet if you look in to this you will see practically all the Westside with breeze line was down for this process. I apologize for this inconvenience as well as my serviceadvisors apologized made our customers a wear when we found out it happened it made things slow down and very hard to get things done we did get the inspection process and estimates for what we could no excuse just did our best if it wasn’t good enough I apologize for this but they did get there inspection. We did in between the system failures get a digital visual with pictures done and an estimate made up for the brakes as well asked for more testing time for the codes in computer to confirm with testing what was going to need to be done we asked if they wanted us to go further.
And was stated to us that we had told them it would be a top to bottom inspection we did do what we stated on the work order top to bottom inspection asked about the lugs gave them the inspection with the codes and system data that needed to be gone further with. Asked if they did want to go further on or with as I was told.
As for us being compared to another shop they are not us we are not them if you wanted them to do the work and were happy there by all means go there. But we did what our inspection stated we would do for our used car inspection.
Now they have not only not spoken to me or as I was told didn’t not ask to speak with me form either service advisor at that time or picking up the vehicle.
they have now wrote two google reviews under different accounts, a face book review slamming us for not doing what they feel we should of for their service we provided.
We did give them the inspection and why the brakes couldn’t be looked at unless they knew it may cause other problems as well as the further testing time it would require to complete what was needed.
I am attaching them here with the reviews that I feel as well are not correct completely.
they stated they were going here next all this in one day no chance for me to see or catch to offer help.
when I noticed it was just before this complaint came through like wow I started to find out what happened asking questions of my advisors whom typically do not have these type of problems no defense here either. All I can do there is apologize for something I had no control over and there experience they had at our repair center a big part to breeze line Wow internet system.
I do feel they got what they paid for just not as quickly as they may have liked the timing was not ours or the customers fault either.
They want their money back which I fell we did what was asked they did get what they paid for and were not willing to go further. They didn’t authorize more testing time so we didn’t do more testing time. They did not authorize us to take lock lugs off we did not take lock lugs off. I feel they should have to take down the posts at least IF WE DECIDED TO GIVE THE MONEY BACK WITH A DO NOT RETURN TO US IN THE FUTURE. this is not a fair review of the situation life isn’t fair I understand this to.

Wow. When I came into the shop Friday expressing my unhappiness with your findings and lack of diagnosics of the codes, as per the conversation with Chris, and Kelly that day.... your shop required more time to review the codes and estimate repairs... hence the reason you had it until Monday! Monday you had done nothing more to my vehicle, and still had only 1 problem estimated which was breaks. Therefore you did not do the service that was agreed upon, and your telling me I denied you further time? Please stop lying,
The locking lugs is not the issue here, I drove the car off the lot knowing it needed roaters. I told you several times I simply wanted to know what's wrong with the car and what it would take to fix it..
You've not done that. I'll never remove my review, it's the truth. You did not provide the service agreed upon. Refund my card, and go on your way. Otherwise, here we are.
