3/9/2024 Amount Paid: $72 I went to this tire shop, to have my brand new tires installed. They did not tell me their services or what it includes or doesn’t. They didn’t give me any copy or even verbally the company policies. Any other tire shop new valve stems are included with install or they at least would recommend it due to safety. The employee tried to charge more than the normal pricing anyways to just install so he could pocket money. The tech didn’t inform us our valve was bad which is a safety issue. So we drove with it and our tire wouldn’t hold air. We had to purchase another new tire 24 hours after just having them install a brand new tire because the valve was bad and ruined the tire and Walmart said it’s a safety issue they will not just replace the stem. We called the owner who was unprofessional and said company policies and pricing, and we didn’t pay for valves to be inspected. Just $72 to install tires into vehicle. However how would we know this with no pricing board or verbal communication of this by the employee?! We wanted them to pay for our new tire to solve this. They refused and said it’s our fault.Business response

This goes back to a few days prior to the day of tire installation. the customer came with a spare tire on and he had the actual wheel in the trunk and all he needed was a plug so he could the spare tire off his car. Upon inspection we determined that his tire was very dry rotted and had a broken belt hence unsafe. He insisted we plug that tire but our professionals refused because of safety concerns . New tires were recommended to him at the time but he said he was getting paid in a couple of weeks so replacement was not an option at the time. As a customer of ours and as a courtesy we helped add some air to his spare so he could atleast make it home safely.
A couple days later he came to our shop with 4 tires from Walmart and needed installation and balance. Our staff quoted him a price of $100 which included mount & balance, new valve stems and environmental fees for tire disposal. He vehemently disputed that price and asked if our staff could just do the installation without new valve stems and he was going to personally dispose or keep his old tires. All that was done(mount ,balance and final inspection before putting back onto the car)and the gentleman paid $70 cash and he left. He ignored all our recommendations which could saved him some money. I asked if he purchased roadhazard for his new tires from walmart but he hadnt. To which i was willing to do installation for free for the said tire if he had gotten a new tire through warranty. Unfortunately he didn't insure those tires and here we are. The price i had given him for a new set of tires through me was way cheaper than what he ended up spending with everything included.
We are a reputable business(4.8 stars) and our google reviews will go to show that.
