November of 2023 there was a massive leak in my kitchen. I fought with my homeowner's insurance, and they denied the claim. No kidding the SECOUND I hung up with the insurance adjuster this Wendy person started calling me and mailing me threatening letters about getting a lien on my home. I have a chronic health condition that was aggravated by this water in my home and a giant hole in my floor. I was in he hospital for weeks. I have PTSD from domestic violence. this Wendy person sent 2 more communications. 1 mailing and 1 email. Then they sent my account and out a lien on my house for $2,080! Emailed the Wendy person with the company and explained my situation and what I had been dealing with since the accident and she replied with this: 'I have reached out to you repeatedly by email, mail & phone with no response. I’m sorry to hear you have health issues. At any point during the 60 days the work was completed, you could have reached out to me, that includes when you found out from your adjuster that your coverage was denied. Anytime there is no response from the customer after the work is completed, that is considered a default, company policy. ' Completely unprofessional and rude. I paid the account off that day and will NEVER use anything from this company again.

On April 11th, we had water damage to our 4th floor bathroom that also caused damage to our garage, 4th floor hallway and bedroom, 2nd floor bathroom, and closet. The mitigation team ServiceMaster by Neverman came out and was fantastic at cleaning up the mess. Due to their professionalism and service, we decided to use their construction division to put our house back together. This has proven to be a large mistake on our part. We have met with delay after delay, no one returning calls, forever to get someone out here to give us an estimate, and now more delays and failed returned calls. I spoke with General Manager "Jay" yesterday morning was promised a call back this morning by either himself or my Estimator, "Jesse". Not surprisingly, no one called. When I called back and finally got Jesse to answer the phone, I was greeted with, "Hello?" and silence after I replied with "hello". The entire conversation Jesse struggled to speak more than 2 words at a time. When I asked why this was such a hold up and why no one could be bothered to give me an update, I was told, "...Uh...it's peak insurance season". Sad that their construction division is such a let-down given how great the mitigation part of their business is.

We had a kitchen fire in June, our business with Neverman started on 6/10/2021. However our services weren't completed until 10/22/21, that is 19 weeks. The service, professionalism and quality we had received was disappointing, we have expressed these concerns to multiple people including our contractor and project manager at first, then the *** last. Back in October we had asked **** or **** to come and expect the quality of the work that was left. The job was left looking unprofessional, rushed and sloppy. We were told no that a walk through is not something that is done. This was after constant issues that were previously brought up and partially resolved. We ended up having to hire an outside company to finish our remodel to professional standards. During this 19 week fire claim we encountered the following scenarios:We were told by Neverman who to use for materials, they had a dealwith a company called **** and ******, which has been the biggest fail in this remodel. We had trust in our contractor to do what was best for this job as we had no experience with this before. **** ****** was impossible to communicate with with, there was trouble on Nevermans side as well as ours. Our assigned person was constantly getting pulled into other jobs (I have email confirmation stating that). She delayed in ordering our counters twice, which resulted in materials being backordered. She ordered wrong parts, and when they came to drop off the new part they said it was up to us to get rid of the other material. She ordered the wrong sink, I was supposed to have a white ceramic sink however she ordered a stainless steel sink. I asked for an estimate from both companies for an apron sink, that took 2 weeks and completely threw them all off track because they already added it to our order when I was clear I was wanting an estimate for pricing. I was supposed to have roll out drawers in my pantry, they were never ordered. I confirmed with **** and *** about the roll outs and was assured that they would be installed. The roll outs were delivered after the job was considered finished. They had to redo the pantry multiple times because the correct parts were not ordered for that. Some of the doors are crooked on the cabinets, and the handles to the pantry were misplaced. They are so high up my children cant reach them. If I was to move it I now have ugly holes in the door. Above the kitchen sink the cabinet is wood colored completely different than the rest of the cabinets does not match at all and it looks awful. This all was just the **** ****** portion that I can recall. The kitchen has multiple imperfections. Some things were just intentionally left, some just done poorly. The grout on the backsplash is flaking off in big chunks. There are big chunks on the backsplash tile.I was told by Neverman employees that they were getting pulled off our job to go and work another job. Admitting that they had to leave parts unfinished to go finish other jobs that were not emergencies. My living room carpet has a permanent spot from the tarp tape that was laid down. The professional shampooer couldn't get it out, I have also tried to get it out with my shampooer. It's stained for good.I asked multiple times when it could be removed and was told once the job was completed. The kitchen floor has a chip or dent in a spot.Cabinet door has a huge scratch. The trim on top of the cabinet has a spot that was poorly sealed. It's the seam of 2 pieces of trim that they tried to blend but ended up leaving my **** trim with a black smudge.Communication between all parties has been basically non existent. We had workers showing up with no notice, workers showing up hours after we were told they would be. They delivered cabinets to our house with no notice, we had nowhere to put them. We had 1 day notice to begin work, but couldn't because we had to clean out the kitchen and garage. We had workers showing up asking what they were doing. It was just adding stress on top of a stressful situation.Lastly the paint, this was the biggest issue. I do need to let it be known I work from home I periodically would walk to the house see the progress that was being made. So I'm very frustrated on the outcome of the paint. Before we even started painting we asked if we needed to peel the paint from the bathroom as there were bubbles by the shower. He informed us no need to do that the primer would section everything to the wall. That did not happen now the walls are full of bubbles. They came out and fixed the large bubbles once and left the little ones. When I mentioned the paint job to **** I expressed that it had taken them 5 days to do a very shoddy paint job. He informed me the reason it took so long was because they spent more time doing primer. However I do no not every room was primed. Also the home surveillance video will show them in the garage and front yard taking very frequent breaks, along with the dog that they brought to my house and chained up outside. One of your gentlemen even left blood on my floor, I have two small children and animals. I brought all of this up and stated I do not want those gentleman back at my house, for what would be another 2 days of painting. The very nice young man that came out to fix the paint explains ****** really just does not care about his job, which shows in his work. However that was still too big of a job for one guy to try to fix himself. We informed the *** of the issues as we didn't feel the estimate they provided was worth the job that was completed. Especially due to the fact that we had to hire another company to come out to finish. After a very heated argument he agreed to remove half the charges we asked for off the final ****. However that did not come lightly, he didn't really acknowledge any of the points I brought up to him. Just kept repeating that his men do great work. When I asked if he was binded he replied "it's none of my d*** business". Reading BBB reviews, it seems like only the restoration cleaning part of this business is being rated. The restoration cleaning part they did a great job with and the only reason I gave two stars. As far as the construction aspect of this business, everyone should beware. I would not recommend them for reconstruction services at all to anybody. Do it yourself you will get the same results so much cheaper and without the hassle.
