Went in early morning immediately after arriving in Columbus saw the gym decided to see what they have to offer got a membership the next day called to cancel due to having to leave outta state abruptly again and was told by the tall guy behind the counter come in sign a paper and we will issue that refund thru mail since not having my physical card this was 7/27-7/28 now they blocked my calls and am unable to find the status of my refund as well as get in contact with someone seems like they just aren’t trying to handle business properly.Business response

Changing contract after I signed legally voids contract. Facility locker room showers stink of urine. Woman I met in spa telling me several don't shower prior to using pool/spa. Woman @ front desk ignored me when I mentioned it. Spoke to customer behind me, Facility offered my friend $100.00 cancelation fee. When she called again they said no because she contacted health department. She told them she had not and they allowed her to pay a $100.00 cancelation fee plus what she was behind to cancel. (see her cancelation notice). They will not allow me to cancel because I did contact health department . There were violations; also the urine smell in women's showers/locker room/changing was noted. This was discussed with facility by Community Environmental Health Supervisor. (***** ****) They've repeatedly been asked for a copy of unchanged contract I signed. They say the emailed it to me. The only thing they've produced is contract with changed dollar amounts done AFTER I signed. It does not matter why they changed it; they altered a legal binding document voiding the contract.Initial Complaint

I paid a $49 enrollment fee and got a membership. The general manager claimed I was "getting in people's faces", it never happened, and canceled my membership. When I asked about my money being refunded he told me he had already done it. This was more than 2 weeks ago on May 20th and I have yet to receive said refund.
