We are having an issue with our air conditioner not cooling. We called Northland Heating and Cooling and explained to them that we just had it filled with refrigerant last year and that we had a leak somewhere. I told the lady that answered the phone that we needed the leak fixed and we didn't want them just to refill it. The tech didn't come back in and tell my wife anything about what was going on instead he said he tightened a bolt and filled it with refrigerant. They charged us 345.00. This happened on 5/3. The next month the air conditioner was doing the same thing. We placed a call to them and they wanted to charge us again to come back out for an issue that was never fixed the first time. We weren't getting anywhere with the manager he was giving us every reason in the world and said he would talk to the tech and call me the next day. He said we voided our contract because we didn't have it serviced through them. He said they don't come out for free, like we were trying to get something for free. We just paid to have it fixed in May so we should not have to pay again for something that wasn't fixed the first time He never did call back. We ask for the owner to call us. We placed a call and he called back but the call was missed. We called and left another message and haven't heard back. Since then placed three calls and a text message and the owner is not returning our call. Very bad customer service. Come to find out that they didn't have our system registered and talked to Lennox and it wasn't in the system and said we only had 5 years warranty on the parts but would've had 10 being registered. Lennox had a lawsuit filed against them in 2015 for the evaporator coils that leaks. The case was called Thomas vs. Lennox. We didn't get anything telling us because it wasn't registered. So now we have a system with a bad evaporator coil which cause our composer to go bad and it was misdiagnosed by their tech. We have more but are out of room. Please contact us.Business response
