Yes, this is ******** ******** and this is my complaint on Days In. September 14th, I went to Days In and we booked the hotel online. Went through everybody, *********** could not give us our refund because it was a third party. Basically said that we'd have to go back, take pictures and everything. Well, my friend and I did, and the way we were treated was absolutely ridiculous, disrespected, and the place was disgusting. And then we went down and asked him for our refund, and he said he couldn't do it. And then that's when we went to ***********. He refused to give us our refund. *********** kind of refused. I mean, it was just like, it was a bad day that night.Business response

Unfortunately, as we explained to the guest, there is a one night penalty for cancelling the reservation, which is what she did initially. Apparently, when she learned that there was a penalty, she came back to check in, without any intent of staying, but only complaining that she did not feel safe, which was her initial complaint before even checking in.
The situation felt rather immature and junvenile, among other reasons, as her demeanor and mannorisms appeared to mock a spanish-language performing/entertaining group in the lobby.
All i saw was the word "refund", but i hope this better describes the situation and why there would no refund warranted or forthcoming.

2-22-24 I wanted to reserve a room at the Days Inn on Stelzer Rd @ the Columbus Airport. The res clerk told me the room would be $ 152.76 for 1 night stay but that I would have to put down a $300 dep also. I did that. He said I would get it back within 10-14 bus days. It has been 2 mons. now & I still do not have it. I called them & it goes to a reservation service not the actual motel At the airport. I am on a fixed income & need teh $300 back ASAP. I paid this from My ****** ******* deposit from my Social Security. Using Service Request# 1-**********. I want this put back on my ****** ******* Card.Business response

i called Mr. ****** looking for more information, specifically, either the confirmation number, the last four digits of the cc used, and/or the specific dates that he stayed. Our initial search did not find a registered guest under ***** ******. I called, left a message, and asked him to call us back with the requested information so we could find the information to try to resolve the deposit return, if applicable.
