On 12/26/2022, I went to get a manicure. I signed in stating that I wanted a manicure that cost $20 plus taxes. I usually give a tip that amount to $25. The person that I was assigned to didn’t speak English. While she was giving me a manicure, I noticed that she was using a manicure drill. I asked her why she wasn’t following the usual procedure of nail polish removal. She didn’t answer so I thought that this was something new. She asked me what color that I wanted from a chart. I chose red metallic. She began to put the polish on and I stopped her because she hadn’t soaked my cuticles. I pointed this out to her and she didn’t understand. The manicurist next to her told her that I wanted a manicure. After my nails were done, she showed me a bill for $42. I refused to pay. I referred to the man that told her, I just wanted a manicure that cost $20. He said the polish was acrylic and that was extra. They called the manager and I told him that a manicure cost $20 and I refused to pay $42 plus taxes. I told him that I usually pay $25 including the tip and I refused to pay $42. We agreed on paying $25 plus tax that came to $26.88 February 18, 2023, I returned to the shop to have the polish removed. He said it cost $10. I told him that I shouldn’t have to pay because they are the one that made the mistake. I started to leave and a lady told him that she would pay the $10. He refused and said that I wasn’t allowed in the shop. I left
