I wish i could leave zero stars because my experience with this dealership has been ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! On May 29th of this year i went in to get my first car & give my down payment and even on this day i did NOT leave in my own vehicle. In the first couple months i was in loaner cars more than i was in my own personal car & still had to pay a car note for a car i was not driving. When they sold me my car they had received it in on trade in & DID NOT inspect the car or anything before selling it to me. Since then i have had to take my car back to the dealership SIX TIMES (Tomorrow 9/16/24) will be the SEVENTH)for them to fix things(some of the visits being for the same issue/faulty parts)& ive only had my car for almost 4 months. I was told that i needed to contact the bank that approved me for my loan to cancel my contract on this car & when i did the bank told me that i was given false information and that the dealership was the one that had to cancel it themselves since they already had the money from the ********* down payment. When i told the dealerships General manager this he told me its not possible but then proceeded to say that hes done it once before. Ive told them many MANY times that i dont feel safe in the ************** do not care! My car has slowed down on its own multiple times on the freeway which made me have to pull over on the side of the road where other drivers around me are going 70mph or faster. Ive also been sexually harassed by a salesperson through text message, which i do have proof of! When i got my first car i NEVER expected that my experience would go this way, i feel like they are taking advantage of me since i go alone and i am a young woman in my early 20s.Review from John P

Do NOT buy a used car from this dealership. They sell unsafe vehicles. I am from Eastern PA and before I bought a Work van from there, I asked my sales guy **** does the van need anything? will it pass inspection? He said the van is work ready and needs nothing at all. After I flew out there to buy the van, I test drove it, after 10 feet of driving I heard noises coming from the back brakes. **** said I am sure it’s nothing. Well, it was something. The parking brake was broken, parts were broken off and that’s what was making the noise. After over 5 hours of them ‘‘trying'' to repair them they could not repair them for some reason. I agreed to take the van home for a 7-hour drive, and they said they would pay for the pairs from my dealer. Well after 1 hour of driving, I turned the heat on, and only cold air came out. So, no heat all the way home. I contacted **** and he never got back to me. After making it back I dropped off the van to my local Ram dealer and they found MANY things wrong with the van, even tho Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet said they did a multi-point inspection on the van. The sway bar and left side ball Joints are bad. It will not pass inspection now until repairs are done, and Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet is refusing to pay for the repairs, They want the van back so they can look at it, I am 7 hours from them so I said come get it and pay my loan on it until its fixed! they refuse so now I have to have my attorney deal with this mess, and report them to the Better Business Bureau and in the meantime I am out of a work van for work and out of money! this dealership is a nightmare and If I was Mark Wahlberg I would be embarrassed to have my name on this dealership. So, if I were you, I would stay away from this place at all costs! I wish I could give them a negative star.Review from April N

Purchased a car in February 2022 at the time of purchase, my husband told the salesman there was something wrong with the brakes, rotors and the clutch. They wrote and I owe you to have these checked out later. Took the vehicle back was told everything was ok. Had to take it back a 2nd time and they replaced the brakes and rotors. Here we are a year later and the clutch is gone. We purchased an extra warranty and was told by another dealership it wasn’t worth the paper it was written on. The cost to repair this is 1600 at another dealership when I called to make a complaint and to see if they would take care of the issue since it was brought up with the initial purchase I was told they would help with the cost but was asked what the other dealership quoted and at that time they told me to have it repaired there it would be around 2200 but would take it down to the 1600, this doesn’t really help since I can already have it repaired for that price. Not the best experience and will mot be returning to this establishment.Review from George W

I purchased a 2017 GMC Sierra ***** from the Mark ********************** Chevrolet Dealership in Worthington on August 27, 2022. One of the selling points was that it had four new Good Year Wrangler tires. After the purchase, I found that there was a vibration (like the tires bouncing) coming from the front. The vibration became noticeable at 35 mph and got worse up to a speed of 45 mph.I took the ***** to the Performance GMC dealership in Lancaster to have the problem checked. They found the new tires were either not balanced or were balanced incorrectly. In addition, two of the four tires registered above an acceptable level on "road force" tests and were deemed to be defective. As a result, I had to buy two new tires to replace them and to have the other two tires balanced. The salesman who sold me the ***** told me that the ***** had new brakes as well as new tires. I see no indication in the ************** record that the brakes were replaced. In fact, the Carfax report indicates that service checking the brakes is overdue.Review from Anthony B

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dealership! I set up a appointment a week in advance. Then when I got there they told me I didn't have an actual appointment and that they would need my car for multiple days and couldn't confirm when It would be looked at. This place is one of the most unorganized dealerships. The customer service was also awful. I tried to work with the service people to try and work something out but they wouldn't budge. Overall, wouldn't recommend anyone cone here and I certainly won't be coming back. 0/5.Review from lisa m

Floated title, then hid it was a Rebuild/salvage. They even "forgot" to give me copies of all the paperwork I signed when I bought the car; I had to go back in for that.. Then they kept telling me when I would call about no title yet that it was slow, it would be coming, or the BBB could license it by using the internet to find the title (but they had charged me for a title). Took from 3/3/2022 to 7/12/22 to resolve, and only after I contacted the ************************** (because as soon as we knew it was a salvage, we learned it could not be insured) who put me in touch with a third party to mediate. Then they tried to sneak an Non-Disclosure Agreement form in to me as I signed the odometer reading and info about the title when they finally agreed to give us our money back. They are sneaky, underhanded, unreachable. Since this experience, I have had two other people tell me of similar instances. And now, the market is worse than before, so this has put us in a worse shape to get a car of a similar price. Do NOT EVER BUY from Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Worthington.Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Worthington Response

Located a vehicle on cars.com at **** Wahlberg Chevrolet in Worthington. Viewed car on their website. Their website advertised a Final Price of $49,060. Called to verify availability. After being told initially that it was sold, salesperson called us back to say that it was still available. We offered to make a deposit to hold the vehicle. We were sent the Sales Agreement to sign. We noted that $5,000 had been added to price as Market Adjustment, bringing total price to $54,090 before Customer Cash. We cancelled the deal immediately. We raised our concerns with the salesperson who apologized but said that Manager would not remove the markup. We understand that it is a sellers' market and dealers can charge whatever price the market will bear. However they advertised a price on their website as "Final" and then added more. I can't understand how this is not deceptive advertising.Review from Brandon B

Ever since **** Maxton became ************ it has gone down hill. - No longer has a fleet of loner vehicles. The service price was always high but worth it because you could borrow a car. They sold them all, and don't plan on adding any back. So now the service is even more expensive, and you have to figure out how to still make due with no car.- *********** cost, etc. Had a referral from their own service station next door on where an oil leak was (crank shaft). I set up an appt., took off work, too my vehicle in on a Friday. My car sat there for a week before they looked at it. When they did, it took all of ******************************* $100 for the diagnostic (they knocked $40 off for taking so long). Then they presented their estimate, which was about $1500+ of parts / labor, which they couldn't commit to when and how it would be done. So.....if you're rich, and can go without your car for weeks at a time, **** Wahlberg is the place for you. Also - be forewarned, they will not honor warranty fixes of their own fault. Find a small business, this one has grown too big to care about you.Review from William B

Went looking for a new trailblazer and salesman kept pushing a used Equinox on us. Wouldn't let her test drive it except in the parking lot. Salesman had final paperwork done before we agreed even when we kept asking about the Trailblazer. My wife drove it home and absolutely hates it. We called the next morning and were told they wouldn't take it back. After days of talking with financial guy he said they would take it back and give us our money back and would even come and pick it up. Now 5 days and many phone calls later we are told No we aren't taking it back even though it's been parked in a garage and not driven. They have no return policy and nothing was signed that states they will under any circumstances take back a vehicleMark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Worthington Response
