There's always someone there to pop your balloon, isn't there?
I worked there for 2 months, in that hell hole, making $2,000 a month. (I don't know who can live off of $2,000 a month anymore, I can't.) I don't work for drug addicts OR people who hire drug addicts. I've stated that in several of my on-line ads. I had to correct every mistake his past cheap- unprofessional- workers made for the past 13 years. I was thinking he would man up and offer me $1000 for compensation, but he didn't. That house was left in the best condition it has been in since he bought it in 2010, or more. We had to put 3 and sometimes 4 and 5 coats of paint on everything, (primer and topcoat) and lots and lots of plaster repair. I got pictures. I even did exterior work that was above and beyond the original scope- I didn't get paid for that. There is no reason for him to complain about anything. The flooring was getting carpet, so no big deal. The tile he mentions was laid in a professional manner according to industry standards as indeed, everything else was, if they are coming up, which I doubt, it's the manufactures' fault, not mine -he bought them, maybe they were a low quality. I'm sure he is upset because he is used to hiring no good people who will jump at his commands. The last I heard from him, he wanted the storm door retractor to put up, and nothing else was the matter, (he's making a big deal out of this? , that's crazy).  I have the text messages. I'm sure he could have one of his people do that very quickly, but I did more than enough for what I got paid for. I wish him the best of luck, but I definitely don't want to work for him again, and I'm telling my friends not to work for him either. He should be ecstatic at the outcome, not be complaining, but I'm not a drug addict and i don't jump. Thank you.
