ask to check for roaches and the said I had none, yet still charge me $270Business response

On 8-4-22 Mr ****** called our office asking for roach control service at one of his rental properties. We have treated this same property for roaches in 2019 for Mr. ****** as well. We explained to Mr. ****** our roach control pricing structure: $238.00 plus tax for the initial service and $99.00 plus tax for any additional follow up services needed. The reduced follow up rate is valid for 60-days from any previous service. Mr. ****** approved just as he did in 2019 and scheduled service for 8-8-22. We had 2 service techs at his property treating on 8-8-22 per our agreement. Our service technicians records indicate they did not find any roaches at time of service (this can happen during service as roaches hide in cracks and crevices and behind the walls). We did everything we were contracted to do and I am not clear why Mr. ****** is wanting a refund. Thank you,Customer response

The company sent a tech to the property and told my tenant there was no roaches and treatment was not need to my tenant. This information was in the invoice, also the tech was rude to my tenant. This company is the expert, and I was surprised to receive a bill.
The company could refund my bill $270 or they should not be trusted by the paying public.

Our service techs did not tell the tenant that they did not need treated for roaches. We are at their place to treat for roaches because they reported seeing roaches and requested treatment for roaches.
1.) The tenant told Mr. ****** they have seen roaches and would like treated.
2.) Mr. ****** calls Ohio Exterminating to ask about our roach services (we treated this property for roaches in 2019, he knows the process).
3.) Ohio Exterminating gave Mr. ****** our pricing to treat for roaches.
4.) Mr. ****** authorized service and scheduled service with Ohio Exterminating.
5.) Ohio Exterminating showed up our on scheduled service date and treated for roaches.

1. I trusted this pest control to inspect and tell me if there are any roaches.
2. The 2 techs inspected and left notes in my file there were no roaches.
3. Why would you treat roaches if the property did not have any.
4. This represents bad business practices.
5. Inspections are free according to their website.
6. I am blocked to my file online by the company, to prove the 2 techs mentioned this in the file.
7. The account represents this company agreed with the techs did not find any roaches.
Please do to use this company because of bad business practices.
