Greeting My Name is ******* - I visited ****** ***** Apartment community located in plain city Dublin Ohio - I wanted to lease an 2 bedroom apartment and went over al the formalities, paid the application fees and deposit - in addition submitted my employment letter - pay stubs etc. -after 2 dats they came back a to me and said that my application has been rejected as i didn't qualify their criteria which was weird- as i have good credit history and employment history i found this strange - i enquired about the issue and found out that they subcontract background check to some third party company which did do its du digence in the right manner they gave a wrong report due to which my application got rejected. - i contacted the 3rd party contractor and they accepted their mistake and said that re accepted their mistake and corrected and updated the same and also informed ****** ***** manager about their mistake - when i contacted the manager he was very rude non accommodative - he insists that well since my application has been rejected once i have to wait for 6 months to reply which is ridiculous. the first mistake was from the 3rd party vendors mistake due to which my application got rejected - and now the want me to wait for 6 months to reapply - this whole process has been vey unpleasant experience . and he manager at ****** ***** doesn't even try to listen and understand what other person is trying to say totally it has been a very bad experience for me . i would request BBC to look into this and help me to get a resolution for the same. your quick action and response in this regard is really appreciated. Thank you for bringing your concerns to my attention. I have reviewed the complaint thoroughly so that I have a complete understanding of the situation. In our application process, credit and background are reviewed, as well as employment and rental/mortgage history. We do use a 3rd party company to run credit and background and we also have standard criteria in place which is factored into the final decision. Based on the information provided to us, the application was declined.
You mentioned that you reached out to the credit company to have some information corrected. I do see that the report was modified after you contacted them, however, there were other factors that also affected the decision. I believe our manager has already made you aware of this.
At this time, we do not plan to reverse our decision. Thank you for your understanding regarding this matter.Sincerely,

the facts stated by the group are wrong - i spoke to the credit agency and they confirmed with me that that they made a mistake and they recertified it and updated the management regarding this.

As I stated in my previous response, I acknowledged the fact that the report had been updated. We are not disputing that. Please understand that there were other factors that contributed to the final decision. The manager made you aware of this at the time. Thank you.
