Buyer Beware! I received 3 estimates and decided to go with Allied because I thought I could afford what was quoted. By the way, the crew was awesome. I paid a little over half down as required thinking I had less than a half to pay at the completion of the work. However, when I received the final billing, it was double what I was expecting/quoted. It seems the estimate did not include everything it should have. Moreover, no one gave me a heads up that there was going to be an additional cost. I feel I was professionally scammed. As a so called expert, your estimate should not have been more than half off from the actual cost. Was this on purpose? It would be interesting to see how many liens you have because of this tactic of under estimating the cost. You certainly surprised me a double balance than expected, I told ******************* that I would need to make payments because of the unexpected balance. He stated that was not acceptable and required that I pay the balance in full immediately. There was no way I could pay it right away. It took me a month, but I managed to pay off the balance, so I thought. However, now they have added $267 and threatened to put a lien on my home. As a 62 yr old single grandmother raising a 9 yr grand daughter, this seems a bit much. However, you spin this, bottom line is as common courtesy, you go back to the customer and tell them what the cost will be over the estimate and not shock them after the work is completed. At least give the customer an option before incurring the added expenses, loop them in, and give them some time to pay the unexpected extra cost. Maybe the ************************ and Six on Your Side needs to hear this story. I believe I have been scammed.

We expected you to read and understand your contract before you came to our office, as well as **** the owner, read this to you on your front door steps. You were charged the correct amount on your invoice and were not scammed. We stated on the quote that there would be a lot of wood replacement needed and the entire house was 36 sheets & the cost per sheet was listed as the 3rd item on the quote. You told **** at your initial appointment on site you knew there would be wood replacement needed. During the project **** knocked on the door & let you know that they were replacing ********* was an extra charge. We replaced 32 of the 36 sheets. Since you worked from home that day, **** had you come outside & look at what was being replaced. The reason we added finance charges is due to the invoice being past due and then your failure to respond we mentioned the lien due to you not answering several phone calls, emails and texts messages from our office and ****, the owner. You conveniently ignored us until we brought up a possibility of a lien. You decided not to comply with the payment terms on the contract that you signed. Please refrain from your defamatory comments.
