We have closed the duplicate complaint and copied the additional information submitted and we have manually posted it to the original complaint case below. Based upon this new information we are resuming BBB **************************** We appreciate the patience and understanding of the parties.
I called speedy towing to tow my vehicle to Midas on refugee rd. In order for the towing company to tow my vehicle and get it on the flat bed my front passenger side tire had to be removed. Im not a mechanic so Im not sure why this was necessary to mount my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle from *****, which was a nightmare in its self, I noticed that there was a deep scratch on the bottom of my passenger side door. I took pictures of the damage. ***** employees relayed to me that the tow company claimed responsibility for the body damage. My complaint what was filed and closed without resolution from ***** is. #********. I was overcharged for service I didnt request and I was told two different stories about the key to my vehicle. One story is Midas locked my key in the safe and the other story is the tow company has the key. Somebody needs to fix the damage to my vehicle and replace my key. If the courts need to determine responsibility thats fine too. I hope it doesnt come to that point. I would like the damage to my vehicle repaired and my towing fee refunded. Both companies have pointed the finger at each other regarding the body damage/deep scratch on my passenger side door. I have sent pictures to the owner or manager of Speedy Towing regarding the damage to my vehicle. The phone number for my contact person with Speedy is ************. Last time I heard anything from them was 8/29/24.
Desired Outcome:
I would like my towing fees refunded, I want the body damage fixed and I want to determine who is responsible for my key and have it replaced.Business response

Hello,
Sorry you have to go through all this troubles, you requested a towing service from our company, and we did provide the service, we were able to load the vehicle and unload the vehicle with no damages at all, the front tire was removed, so it does not cause any damage to the body.
Key was given to the Midas employee.
In conclusion, the service was provided and complete. So we cannot provide refund for it. No damages happened from our side, any damages happened after the drop off it is Midas responsibility, and if they claim it is the towing company, let them show their security cameras footage.
Again, sorry you are going through this, but we cannot be responsible for other companies mistakes
