I corresponded with the dealership several times in the week leading up to me checking out a vehicle I was potentially purchasing. I was assured the car is in good condition and nothing was wrong, When I got there: HVAC was completely dead the electric tailgate was completely dead and making machine gun noises the valve covers leaked on both sides the center console latch was broken the spare tire compartment latch was broken the headlights were completely fogged over and unusable it had a flat tire it was overdue 1500 miles on its service I found all this out after driving 3.5 hours there. The seller was completely unwilling to budge on price when several major components of the vehicle was broken. This dealership is 100% committing fraud and trying to scam their customers and waste their time.Business response

Hello and thank you for your feedback. It looks like you came and looked at a vehicle but never purchased it because we did not give a discount on the vehicle that you expected. We are sorry you did not purchase the vehicle, but at this point there's nothing we can do because there was no transaction that happened.
Thank You

I am rejecting this response because:
At no point did I expect a discount. I brought the full asking price in cash over 3.5 hours to the dealership. The vehicle was massively misrepresented and continues to be online. This dealership is 100% attempting to scam people.

Committing negligence and fraud in the sale and presentation of their vehicle. Owner of the company misrepresented his vehicle, but claiming it as new and needing no repairs whatsoever. The owner convinced me to fly from Chicago to Columbus, based on his description of the vehicle and upon my arrival, he was not their, nor was the vehicle in the state he claimed it to be. Upon my bringing it to a proper dealership mechanic, the mechanic instructed me of all the various issues including everything from fraudulently listed mileage, to faulty mechanical work, and leaking transmissions, that the car was in no such shape as it had been described to me. During my driving of this vehicle to the said dealership, the turn signal and brake lights went out, endangering my safety on a busy road. Once I arrived at the dealership and told the employee helping me of such issues, he refused to accept them nor have the dealership take responsibility for their misrepresentation of their vehicle or even endangering my life. I had the employee call the owner who I had been speaking to (who at first refused to call the owner) only to have the owner deny any wrongdoing, or be accountable for his actions. This encounter has costed me 620$ in travel from chicago to Columbus and back as well as the 180$ the mechanic charged me for an inspection that the owner of the vehicle deemed unnecessary. The owners name is **** **********. I would include the service record as well, but it is at the office of AG Auto Group, who did not believe me when I told them the amount of money that would need to go into the vehicle.Business response

Hello I'm sorry the customer did not like the vehicle after he had a inspection done by ***** dealership. The vehicle is a 1990 ***** 240. It's a 33 year old ***** that runs good looks good For it's age. It is not a brand new car, so yes it will need some items repaired just like any other 33 year-old vehicle and this is what the customer was told before he arrived. There is no fraud from our end. The mileage is accurate on the odometer and carfax and the title all match and there's no misrepresentation on the mileage like the customer claims. The customer was told that if he does not like it, he does not have to buy the vehicle, and he never ended up buying the vehicle. With that being said, we do apologize that the vehicle was not what the customer expected, but there's nothing we can do because the vehicle was not purchased. Thank You
