CSM West Carrollton Same report to their Better Buisness Review profile Steer clear of Car Stereo Max I brought my truck to them with a viper ds4+remote start installed having a “dragging the starter” issue when installed by Best Buy and they assured me they could fix it for 60 bucks. Picked it up and it still did the same thing after they took the starter out and put in a new one in and was told 425 while they had it all opened up. Now say they “looked” at it again and it’s still doing the same thing as before when I first dropped it off and refused a refund as I paid to have it fixed and it wasn’t. Be careful anything you pay them as now I have bought 2 starters for my truck and I obvisouly have 1 installed and not working correctly and I’m out the money. I caught them in so many lies recording it all on my phone and as my dash cam proved they didn’t even bring it into the install bay a second time. **** the owner lied to me and told me to go to church little boy and even cussed me out over it. the person I am I didn’t even raise my voice at all or cuss of course. Had a police officer called to protect myself and to ensure I would get my property back and even will be bringing them to small claims court over a 425 dollar refund they could have given a customer to be happy. I do go to church **** and just because I am a younger guy doesn’t mean you can walk all over me because I work hard for my money and my property.Business response

This is absolutely not the case, I have reviewed the camera and audio footage from my employees.
the customer need to get a refund from Best Buy, who did the initial install. The start was dragging, which means was still engaged after the vehicle has started. We completely removed the product and re installed a new Viper module and wiring while using the customers existing remotes and antenna pack. The vehicle starts as it should and we will not be refunding the money. The customer is complaining about the vehicle not starting every time on the first time, that’s a vehicle issue probably something to do with the massive amount of inferior wiring and aftermarket accessories the owner has on the vehicle. If a vehicle doesn’t start on the first time, the viper will try again two more times, this is how it’s designed. The vehicle always starts during the cycle therefore it is working properly and as it should according to Viper. We did not need to pull his vehicle in again as it was verified to be working correctly and we even talked to tech support about this, they have also claimed it’s working as designed.
I will be waiting for the small claims court and will be happy to settle it that way.
