      My name is ********* **** and I have paid for an Insurance Policy with Norman Spencer for Professional Inspector General Liability for a policy premium of $1663.00 effective 01/04/22 with: **** ****** Norman-Spencer Insurance XXXXX ******* ***** ***** **** ****** *** XXXXX (XXX) XXX-XXXX After prompt payment of the policy premium, I received in return: A. 12 days of unanswered emails and phone calls to get a State Mandated Certificate of Insurance delivered to the ***** Real Estate Commission and a correction for named insured. I lost 13 days of insurance because I am not allowed to be actively licensed without this document received by TREC. B. 12 days of unprofessional avoidance from the insurance agent. It was only when I sent an upset email followed by a phone call message pleading for assistance that I finally was paid attention. C. The Certificate of Insurance was immediately provided to the ***** Real Estate Commission after my upset email. This is implied bias by Norman-Spencer evidenced with the purposeful delay of activating my Professional Inspector License. This causes financial burden for me. My insurance policy has already been in effect 12 days. D. After sending the upset email, only 1 of 2 requests was addressed. I believe the second request will never be attended to, therefore I am making an official complaint to BBB to address unprofessional business practice in an industry that requires vigilance. I am requiring the 2nd request to be completed. E. It should be noted that it took 45 days to receive the binding policy. Weeks would pass with several emails and phone calls from me to have the paperwork completed with the underwriter. They are dragging their feet or discriminating against me. This is not a recent incident but an ongoing process from the very beginning.

      Consumer Response /* (2000, 6, 2022/01/25) */ After sending upset emails to the local insurance agent, I was able to get my requests completed. I was very unhappy with how I was treated but our business was completed satisfactorily, though it took a very unprofessionally long amount of time and complaining on my behalf to get done.
