I hired the Sexton Flooring company in *******, ** (************ his cell; ************ his office) to install my hardwood flooring throughout the house I purchased on Nov. 5, 2021. It was difficult to pin the owner (******) to commit to a starting date even though he knew I had a specific date by which to vacate my former home and move into the new home. He started his crew two weeks later. They rushed and made some mistakes which they said they would come back to replace... floor boards that squeak because they didn't put enough glue and floor boards that they chipped/broke. They told me that their work is guaranteed for life and that they would return to complete the work properly. I paid in full in December 2021. I have called, texted and left messages over the past few months. They came once but only repaired two of the boards. They said they would return. I called again to schedule. I received a couple of messages stating they would come two weeks ago and no one showed up. I've called/texted/left messages several times but no response. I would like help from the BBB in getting this matter resolved -- for the company to send the installer back to my home to replace the boards that they damaged and complete the work properly in terms of quality. I paid $9,340 in full by check for the entire project. I have the invoice that I mailed to them where I stated that they needed to come back and fix the boards that they damaged. I just simply want the work finished properly in two areas of my home. Please reach out to me for any additional information needed. Sexton Flooring has NOT called me or reached out in any way to resolve this matter and fix my flooring. The floor boards along the entrance and hallway of my home are squeaking even more loudly every time you walk on them and the other boards that are broken when installed also need to be replaced. I want them to finish the job properly and repair the damaged boards. This is poor quality work and I paid for quality work not slipshod work. This will hurt me when I go to sell my home in the future.
