      My name is ******* ******, ********. The reason I’m writing you is to ask your help in resolving an issue I’m having with a company in ******, ****. The company’s title is: Prison Friendship dot com. I filled out an application to join their website. I sent them $75 May 15th. It says on their application to give them 30 days to post my profile. It’s been almost two months. I asked my son to go on their website to see if my profile had been posted. He checked it out and said it hasn’t been posted. I’ve sent them two letters, without any response. I’m not trying to get them into trouble. I want either my profile posted or my money refunded. I don’t want any retaliation from contacting you for help. Once my profile is posted. (and I hope it will be). I want a copy of the posting. I’m including a copy of the receipt of the money I’ve sent them. Because they advertise their rating by you as A+ I’m hoping you can help me.       Hello! We are writing this letter in regards to a complaint from ******* ******. Mr. ****** stated that he sent his payment on May 15th, 2023. This appears to be correct, because we got his payment last week of May; however, he didn't include all of the necessary information needed to process his profile. He included his profile bio & pictures with the payment, but did not send the profile application. This is necessary for us to process and post any profile. 
      He wrote us a letter (which we possess) stating that he forgot to send his application with everything else and was enclosing it. We got that letter around the middle of June. He did not state that in his complaint for some reason; nevertheless, he was posted on our website and social media on July 9th, 2023. This was within 30 days of our company receiving ALL information necessary to process a profile. We clearly state on our brochure that profiles are usually processed within 30 days of receiving all content and insufficient information can delay processing.
      In the end, Mr. ******'s profile was processed within that 30 day period. A copy of his profile was sent to him via US Postal mail. He should have it by now, but we all are quite aware that sometimes the postal mail runs slow and we have no control of this. 
      We understand that services take advantage of incarcerated people, but we do not. We hope this information will resolve this issue.

      My name is ******* ******* ********. The reason I'm writing you is because I got a Response Letter from you concerning my Complaint about “Prison Friendship.com.” 

      The only resolution of this matter that I consider proper is their removing my Profile page and refund my money minus an appropriate amount for time posted, which is one month. 

      I've written them several letters that were never answered. I feel because I contacted I will never get any hits on my Profile page. So, with that being said, I'd just like my Refund backs

      After reviewing the response letter, we've decided to offer *** ****** some of his payment back totalling $50.00. The cost isn’t only for the time being up, it’s also the work we do to process the profile. We will remove him from the website as soon as he agrees to our terms.
      It must be noted that *** ****** stated that, "He's been on the site for over a month and hasn't received any hits". The VIP membership he purchased is for a year. Members may not meet anyone in the beginning of their membership, but most of them connect with at least one pen pal during the duration of their membership. Patience is a must in services like this due to the fluctuations in web traffic throughout the year.
      He stated that he wrote to us several times; however, all we have are two letters he wrote admitting he forgot his profile application and enclosing it and one inquiring about his profile, which came in at the approximately same time. We must reiterate that his profile was processed & posted within 30 days after we got ALL necessary content. 
      Also, it's not our duty to communicate with our members whenever and regardless of the questions asked whenever they contact us. We always respond to any questions that are pertinent and not answered in our brochure and/or Welcome Letter.
      In closing, our offer to refund some of his funds is one of grace. We clearly state that once a profile is processed we are not obligated to refund any monies. This is in our disclaimer and Terms of Service, which *** ****** signed and agreed to. We hope our offer resolves this issue.

      My name is ******* ******* ********. I'm writing regarding the above case. I sent you a letter explaining the resolution I'd like, which is, a deduction for the one month my profile was posted, and, reimbursement of the remains from the $75 I've paid for that posting. I've gotten no hits from that website, and I feel this is retaliation by the company, because I've contacted your office.

      A couple of months ago I filed a complaint given the above ID#. It was concerning my account with Prison Friendship.com. Between communication between myself and your office we came to closing my profile on their website with an agreed upon settlement of a $50 refund. 

      I responded to your Aug. 14, 2023 letter to me with my letter dated: Aug. 25, 2023. I also sent the company a letter where I told them I'd agreed to the $50 refund. 

      Since your Aug. 14, 2023 letter I've not received the refund or any more communications regarding it.

      Could you please check on the status of my $50 refund and let me know what you've found out?

      We are writing in regard to an email we received from your organization on September 27th, 2023 pertaining to ******* ******. 
      He wrote us dated September 5th, 2023 accepting our offer and we received that letter on September 12th, 2023. His payment was sent via postal mail and he should be receiving it soon. Once again *** ****** has a pattern of being impatient, as he wrote you complaining about not hearing from us on the 19th, but we just got his letter on the 12th. How fast does he think postal mail works? 
      In closing, we wanted to offer an apology for having to deal with this matter. In the end, he was reimbursed, we met our obligation and we can close this issue. Thanks for you time and help. Have a great day!
