We hired a company who purchased their product from Oberfields to construct our patio. After the completion of the project we noticed the patio would stain and crack very easily. I contacted a rep at Oberfields and he came out trying several different product to get rid of the stains, however nothing helped. Finally, we were told they can provide some of the stones to replace the stained area. There is still a wide range of patio that is stained and was not replaced. Oberfields refuses to replace the entire patio and refuses to pay the contractor to re-do the work. If we had know the stones are of such poor quality, we would have never used material from this company.Business response

6.3.2024 BBB received a phone call from ************************* stating that Oberfields does not warrant against staining. ***** stated that the business has had conversations with the consumer about this issue.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:That is actually a lie. They contacted me and send someone out to try to get rid of the stains, they brought many different cleaning supplies to remove the stains and nothing worked. Never heard from them again. At no point did they mention they dont warrant for stains. This is straight out a lie. They need to provide new material to replace their faulty material.

I bought Oberfields Lexington stone for a paver patio project. It was through ********* ********* ******* The intended color was canyon creek blend. There are two sizes of pavers, a long rectangular shape and a square shape. Those in the long rectangular shape were not the correct color, except for about 50 which were on the bottom of a pallet under the square shape pavers. The incorrect color is a light grey, but was not known to be the wrong color by our contractor until the correct rectangular pavers were discovered after about 90% of our patio was laid. I contacted ********* ******** ******* which then my concern was directed to Eric who is a regional representative for Oberons. I sent an email with the pictures to show the incorrect colors as well as my receipt showing proof and the color ordered. They were willing to send the correct color pavers but not reimbursement for the extra labor that is required to remove all the incorrect pavers and install the correct color pavers. This is an added cost, that is a result of their error and should be covered by them.Business response

10.14.2022, BBB received notification from Jason S****** that Oberfield's warranty covers replacement of product. Oberfield's is not in agreement with request to compensate complainant for labor costs.
